New lefty tactic just arrived^^^^ On shelves today everywhere - If Romney wins, he's really a democrat
So, are you finally acknowledging that Romney tends to, let's say, shift positions?
Don't know - can't get past the distractions of 'Flip Flop' Obama to be able to tell
I'm starting to think, Rich, that your political posts are for pure self-entertainment -- almost like a Stephen Colbert'ish alter-ego. It makes no sense that your McCartney observations and comments are so on-point (they REALLY are!), but your socio-political arguments defy logic even in a bizarro universe. C'mon...'fess up... are you putting us (fellow) libs on?

June 2, 2012 Dreaming of a Superhero By: MAUREEN DOWD ... The president who started off with such dazzle now seems incapable of stimulating either the economy or the voters. His campaign is offering Obama 2012 car magnets for a donation of $10; cat collars reading ?I Meow for Michelle? for $12; an Obama grill spatula for $40, and discounted hoodies and T-shirts. How the mighty have fallen. ... In his new book, ?A Nation of Wusses,? the Democrat Ed Rendell, the former governor of Pennsylvania, wonders how ?the best communicator in campaign history? lost his touch. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/03/opinion/sunday/dowd-dreaming-of-a-superhero.html?_r=1&ref=opinion
I saw the author on Morning Joe the other day, and I agree with his message. The "Presidential Bubble" is a factor, but I wouldn't say he's lost his touch. Obama had disappointed the most extreme liberals by sticking to his futile commitment to bipartisanship -- instead of just leading like the liberal that they believe he is -- in his heart. Then he finally woke up and smelled the coffee. And as for those items for sale: I don't buy merchandising crap of Elvis, Paul McCartney or James Brown either, but that doesn't mean that I'm not "stimulated" by them.

What bipartisanship??? For two of the past 3.5 years the Democrats had control of the House & Senate. "They passed stimulus, ObamaCare, multiple housing bailouts, Dodd-Frank and more. Even after Republicans took the House, they gave Mr. Obama the payroll tax holiday he demanded first for 2011 and again for 2012. Far from some new fiscal "austerity," overall federal spending hasn't declined. Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve has delivered monetary stimulus after stimulus?QE I, QE II, Operation Twist, and 42 months of near-zero interest rates with the promise of 30 months more. Mr. Obama has had the freest run of policy of any President since LBJ. So maybe the problem is the policies." http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702303552104577440342850277660.html?mod=rss_opinion_main (his policies) And he still wants to continue to blame the former President for what now (all the more) seem to be his own failures.

It's the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine)
If Romney squeaks by with a victory, yes, I'll be let down that our country chose to be stupid, yet again. However, the bright spot is that Romney is not really a conservative. Remember: He's the guy that will say or do ANYTHING for any given audience. He would find himself being torn between destructive GOP'ers and his awareness of job-approval polls. True, ALL politicians monitor polls, but this man's goal is solely to "win." No matter who the indirect benefactors are. With that said: Obama's gonna get re-elected, but we gotta give him a Congress that will work with him, too.
Well, "Denying the existence of stupidity is an act of stupidity" O. S. Godoy It's a mass-media, big corporations democracy. Those on Virgina have already decided about it, only we don't know yet. For instance you already knew it was all prepared for Romney to be the Reps candidate. Still, for the first time since the 16th Century, Spain is the most influential place in the world. The future of the economy (and life as we know it in the galaxy :lol is gonna be decided by what happens here this month. And I like it. *Informative note: Reps are not republicans and Dems are not democrats cause the Republic and the Democracy are nothing even similar to what we have today. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Republic_(Plato) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_democracy Just like "academics" are not academics... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platonic_Academy And so on. Of course, "politicians" are not politicians. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosophy#Moral_and_political_philosophy

New York Best Seller List Hardback, Non-Fiction #1 - THE AMATEUR, by Edward Klein. (Regnery, $27.95.) More explosive than the NY Times description ... Hey, look for yourself covers the through the week ending June 10, 2012

Governor Mike Huckabee interviews author, Ed Klein, about his book,"The Amateur", which is a not-so-flattering and revealing biography about Barack Obama ...
Whatever you do - don't watch this all the way through, with the sound on -
Just 2 days after the Bilderberg Club meeting, now there is a "urgent" G-7 meeting about Spain. The people who have been spot on for these past 4 years say that the big thing will happen before the Autumn. Some say "in June, July or August" some "somewhere between July and October"... That will decide the USA elections too, as people use to vote there depending on how the economy is at the moment. http://articles.marketwatch.com/2012-06-04/economy/32018216_1_g-7-euro-zone-flaherty

you can't keep giving tax breaks to the rich and than allow the world to take US jobs and import cheap landfill materials from china and expect anything to change., Americans won't have the same life style they enjoyed because of cheap money that was created on paper. things are going to get a lot worse. We are owned by corporations. You have been given two choices both answer to the same masters.

Ha ha - 'Mitts' brought MA back from having one of the highest levels of unemployment to one of the lowest (4th lowest) by the time he left the position...but don't let facts get in the way of your left propaganda...LOL

The 'Rich' are the investors of our economy and if you punish them for being successful, they'll just stop investing (in things like companies, who in turn use the invested money to create jobs, among other things)...To be jealous over the fact that they drive a fancier car than you is basically shooting yourself in the foot

That's the same old arguement, and it simply not true. The "Reagan" arguement since the 80s, it's a lie running around for more than 30 years. It doesn't even need to be disproved. Increase inequality and the economy is distroyed, as simple as that. Do you know where all the rich have stopped investing now? In Spain! The biggest investors escape ever. And the taxes for the rich here are the lowest ever. Same in Iceland, etc.... So, creating such insustainable in the economy is what really is like shooting yourself in the foot (especially if you're rich cause you have more things to lose).

How is investing (by rich or otherwise) shooting yourself in the foot? I don't know how it works in Spain, but here in the US, investments are the foundation of our economy. It doesn't work any other way. Many companies remain viable simply by way of investments received. Don't get me wrong - they still have to achieve a level of self sustainability...but in order to reach projected growth, etc, is largely based on a combination of there own revenue and investments. In other words, someone believes in their company and helps boost the growth...and given that only rich people have enough money to have a definite impact, then it goes without saying that their contributions are highly valued.

Why's Bill Clinton lobbying for Mitt Romney? LOL...and after the fact, he says his glowing observations of Romney's resume (which 'crosses the threshold' for the presidency - his words, not mine) should not be taken in context of him endorsing Romney...Ok, bill - I will

The picture to this lead article is worth a peek, if not worth consideration July 2012 Team of Mascots By: Todd S. Purdum Four years ago, Barack Obama said he wanted a Lincoln-esque ?team of rivals? in his Cabinet. Thanks to his own temperament, the modern White House, and the 24-hour news cycle, what the president has created is something that doesn?t look Lincoln-esque at all. ... ?No! God, no!? one former senior Obama adviser told me when I asked if the president had lived up to this goal. ... ?He?s a total introvert,? the former adviser told me. ?He doesn?t need people.? ... http://www.vanityfair.com/politics/2012/07/obama-cabinet-team-rivals-lincoln

Btw, what happened in Wisconsin tonight? LOL - precursor to November (buh bye, Obamination )
The win in Wisconsin really had nothing to do with political ads & spending as some would like us to believe. It had everything to do with how the majority of Wisconsin's voters feel about the current President, unions in general, & of course politics at home ...
