Who 'made $10bn on 10/1 bet that U.S. credit rating would be downgraded' By Mark Duell 9th August 2011 A mystery investor or hedge fund reportedly made a bet of almost $1billion at odds of 10/1 last month that the U.S. would lose its AAA credit rating. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2023809/Did-George-Soros-win-10-1-return-S-Ps-US-credit-rating-downgrade.html
George Soros made a billion dollars in 1992 on black monday selling off pounds right before UK devalued its money. . He a liberal but he also had a stake in the carlyle group before George W Bush did. Carlyle invests(150 billion) primarily in the following industries: aerospace and defense, automotive, consumer and retail, energy and power, health care, real estate, technology and business services, telecommunications and media, and transportation. Again in 97 he made money off a crisis in Asia and now again. Too big to fail. New York Times columnist Paul Krugman is critical of Soros's effect on financial markets. "[N]obody who has read a business magazine in the last few years can be unaware that these days there really are investors who not only move money in anticipation of a currency crisis, but actually do their best to trigger that crisis for fun and profit. These new actors on the scene do not yet have a standard name; my proposed term is 'Soroi.'"[38]
well, there's even a theory "out there" that Soros doesn't exactly foresee what's happening lately (2008-2011) but cause it. And that's because he's so accurate. Well, if he really cause it, then I'm interested in what will happen so I check what he says anyway.

Decreed too big to fail and, apparently, deemed to big to Jail.

August 16, 2011 Trump: Obama 'Takes More Vacations Than Any Human Being I've Ever Seen' VAN SUSTEREN: I wanted to talk to you about the recent news about Pakistan and China. But first I want to ask you about your tweet. I can't resist. A recent tweet from you, on your Twitter account, says, Barack Obama played golf yesterday, now he heads to a 10-day vacation in Martha's Vineyard, nice work ethic. TRUMP: Well, the fact is, he takes more vacations than any human being I've ever seen. They used to complain about George Bush, but I understand he's already exceeded George Bush and we're not even through the year. So he likes vacation. VAN SUSTEREN: What does -- I mean, obviously, that doesn't sound a -- send a good message if, indeed, the American people think that he likes a, quote, "vacation." TRUMP: Well, I mean, it sends a bad message. Here we have a country that really is going to hell in a handbasket. Let's not kid ourselves. What's happening to this country is horrible. All over the world, they're talking about it. And we have a president that's constantly -- whether it's Martha's Vineyard or someplace else, constantly on vacation. I mean, all the time he's on vacation! So I think it sends a very, very bad message. We have to work in this country to bring it back. http://nation.foxnews.com/donald-trump/2011/08/16/trump-obama-takes-more-vacations-any-human-being-ive-ever-seen video available as well as entire (interview) transcript

"... And one thing I thought about him when he got elected was that he would be an inspirational president. He'd be a cheerleader for the country. He's really not. He's really turned out to be the opposite. I thought that the one thing he really had was he'd be a great cheerleader. He's not a great cheerleader. If anything, he's a negative person..."

I agree with the star bucks guy..don't give a dime to any politician until they bunch of them start playing nice and do something With corporation being able to donate unlimited funds...why bother anyway. here is a old interview with George Soros and Freed Zakaria but it show he got good ideas. http://www.cnn.com/video/?/video/podcasts/fareedzakaria/site/2010/02/28/gps.podcast.02.28.cnn

I'll never forget his comments during an interview with Bill O'Reilly on Superbowl sunday, stating that he never knew this 'presidential' thing was such a tough job - ya think?!?!?

Hmmm...maybe Our Representatives should be forced to work for piecemeal instead of annual salaries?
-
...but then they would go into Overdrive trying 'to fix everything'...

Go ahead you can have Soros in your Country ..... Get him out of the U.S. I didn't vote for him ..... and he owns many many politicians to get his destructive crap done. He is a rich guy going in the wrong direction - and of course money talks. It is all a game to him and it does not matter who he destroys in his path ..... no thanks.
-
And, you have Buffet in My Country! Are you listening to Him?

I think that the best thing to do about politicians is just ignoring them. Not critizing them cause you're only doing marketing to them. If tomorrow I was critized for milions I would become a popular musician. Just like those who go over youtube "This is great music, and not what Justin Bieber does", that's actually Justin Bieber promotion. Though it's hard to talk about what's going on without talking about politicians. That's why you won't find me in any demonstration or so... I don't care bout what they say or do really... Politicians or anything I don't like... just ignore it, not complaining.

No. They can take Buffet too. They are both betting against you and I to make more money for themselves.
