Exactly, President Obama has tried to eliminate the bush tax cuts for the most wealthy...that would have helped our deficit...but the republicans would not cooperate...because they carry water for the rich. Also the austerity cuts that the republicans are using in the states is hurting our recovery and is reducing jobs in the public sector so that the deficit can not be reduced due to more income. So it stands to reason that since the republicans like the bush tax cuts for the rich and like using austerity to try to reduce the deficit that they would not even be able to make any progress on the economy at all. In fact, using their philosophical likes we will be in lots worse shape with them in office. There will be no deficit reduction because their policies stifle growth. And it's been proven that tax cuts for the rich do not stimulate the economy. That's why the republicans have never had a successful economy.....BECAUSE THEIR POLICIES STINK...THEY DON'T WORK So come on rightys ...what have you got : : You got NOTHING that will work...you vote against your own interests and the interests of your country. Come on we're waiting...tell us how you can overcome your rigid broken philosophy to come up with something that will work for the country. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : :

Haha, you really revealed yourself...you just admitted you know nothing about how the economy works...or why you are one of the republican sheep...I guess that's why you're a sheep you don't know how things work I knew it all along I just wanted to catch you I have no respect for any of you. What you all are doing with your obstruction and austerity is hurting the country...and your leaders know it. Doesn't matter to the republicans if people or the US is hurt. They just think by keeping the economy hostage that it will help with the election by making the President look bad...but most people aren't that stupid.. You all are desperate because you don't have any solutions.

Haha, looks like the sheep are revealing themselves tonight Maybe this is why: check out this isANOTHER study about Faux news http://publicmind.fdu.edu/2012/confirmed/ pdf
According to a new study by Farleigh Dickinson University, Fox viewers are the least knowledgeable audience of any outlet, and they know even less about politics and current events than people who watch no news at all. Respondents to the survey were able to answer correctly an average of 1.8 of 4 questions about international news and 1.6 out of 5 questions about domestic affairs. ?Based on these results, people who don?t watch any news at all are expected to answer correctly on average 1.22 of the questions about domestic politics, just by guessing or relying on existing basic knowledge,? said Dan Cassino, the poll?s analyst. ?The study concludes that media sources have a significant impact on the number of questions that people were able to answer correctly,? wrote Cassino and his colleagues. ?The largest effect is that of Fox News: all else being equal, someone who watched only Fox News would be expected to answer just 1.04 domestic questions correctly?a figure which is significantly worse than if they had reported watching no media at all. On the other hand, if they listened only to NPR, they would be expected to answer 1.51 questions correctly.?
Not surprising Think about that for a second If you sat in a cave all day with no outside contact you would know more than someone who watches faux news as their primary information

War on Women
Old news - the left's most current distraction...er....I mean ploy....er I mean tactic is to paint Romney as the victim of the far right...LOL Even as a detractor of the Obama admin who takes great joy in watching them stub their toes day after day, admittedly I'm starting to feel a little embarrassed for them:
-
Well, I have an idea to get the focus back on track: What's the Republican strategy to fix the economy?... ...Besides tax-breaks for the rich and increased defense spending. It's been a few days now. Nothin'? Still?
-
I voted in the primary on a democratic ticket. I had a phone call from a fundraser for the Mitt Romney campagn. It was the scariest uneasiest feeoling I ever had on a phone call. I don't know if anyone has ever come across someone in a chance meeting or on an initial glance that you get the feeling you should avoid at all cost or that feeling of danger when you grow near to it. That was the feeling I got during that phone call. I am sticking with my choice in Obama. That person on the phone if that was Romney was one of the most hateful people and gave me the heebiejeebies on the phone. I go with my gut instinct on this one. love doris
-
Sounds like that completely out-of-left-field phone call I got from the Mormon Church in the mid-'90s, asking if I would consider re-joining their cult. It had been years since I'd left that church, realizing what a screwed-up religion it was and how it totally contradicts The Book Of Revelations ("adding to these Books"), and -- to this day -- I have no idea how they found me. The phone was in my roommate's name. In fact, I I hadn't EVER had a phone in my name at that point -- yet, they called me at home. Scary folks, them Mormons.
-
This complaining that Obama raised 3 times more than Romney did. It sounded almost like Romney But the feeling I felt like I was talking to someone who was very dangerous. love doris
-
Everybody is supposed to like the sitting President???? Did everyone like (& not complain about) Bill Clinton? Did everyone like Ike? Did everyone like Johnson? Did everyone like Nixon? If your "honest" answer to all of the above is "No" .... I hope you get the picture loud & clear ...

Notice how the left likes to rehash older failed attempts at attacking the right, taking it off the table for a while in hopes that we forgot about this debunked trash only to bring it back? This fails this time around as much as it did the last two times you tried to drag this trash out...LOL

Exactly, audi, they think that a few days and everyone will forget about the question...ain't gonna happen They have NOTHING to contribute that's why they try to distract etc But I've been compiling what mittens has been saying that is when he is pinned down cause the problem is that mittens doesn't have anything either. For instance he wants to repeal Obamacare and has nothing to replace it...on pre-existing conditions this is what he says:
If people have been continuously insured, and then they decide to change jobs or change locations, they should not be denied coverage if they go to a new place or have to get a new policy. So people continuously insured should be able to get new insurance. Therefore, those that have developed a condition while they were insured and then change jobs, lose jobs, go to a new place, apply for new insurance would be guaranteed issue in that new entity so that you don?t have to have people worried about a preexisting condition preventing them from becoming insured.
that is a law already in existence So essentially he is pushing something that already exists He's thinks people are dumb his party is but not the Dems. Then he said he would bring unemployment down to 6% buy the end of 16...well the CBO has already stated that would happen just by leaving things alone. And with Obama's policies unemployment would go lower than 6% by 2016. So what mittens is promising is higher unemployment than Obama His prople won't know the difference If you're dumb enough to vote against your own interests and the interests of your country you believe his BS http://www.mediaite.com/online/the-devil-in-the-details-of-mitt-romneys-interview-with-times-mark-halperin/ http://www.cbo.gov/publication/42909 So come on wingers where are the new ideas and policies to get us out of the mess you made in the first place : : : : : : : : : : : : : :

That's so original...LOL As far as the question...he fixed MA from the brink of disaster created by the prior dem running this sadly liberal state (no, I'm not from this garbage state - politically speaking, it's beautiful in every othe way...I just live here now)....while there full answer to this question is over your head, the short answer is that he's going to allow large companies to have the money to invest in other companies as well as promote growth of their own companies...People knock walmart, but it employs a 'sh*tload' of people...with Romney at the helm, these opportunities will come at all levels instead of remedial retail level (...some folks say you should just feel lucky enough to be working at all, while others have higher aspirations of Walmart employment...Liberals say take the Walmart job and help 'erase' income class and don't try to earn your true value). Offering everyone free money takes away from the growth of this country, so whatever you have to say about Romney's more stringent social benefit programs, he's 1) not going to let hungry people starve, but 2) make sure you're truly unfortunate and not just a leech before you get these benefits.

So... ...the plan is to... ...let Wal-Mart keep on being Wal-Mart?
As well as let bigger, higher skill jobs keep on being....well...bigger, higher skill (aka higher wage jobs) jobs:-) There's a place for everyone, but libs want everyone stuck in one place...and its not an insult to anyone...there are many blue collar lower income earners who'd prefer to put in a full day's work without a lot of complication, then come home and knock down a beer and forget about work...there's nothing wrong with that if that's what you want...but to paint that person as a victim is misleading and in fact, a flat out lie

So, was that the strategy during 2001-'07'ish? How did that work out for the country? As I recall, things kinda' tanked -- and the signs were showing as early as '03.
-
So let Wal mart be wal mart and let big companies continue to be big companies just as they are now...because everything has worked so great for everyone and trickle down is what we're sticking with So this is it ...they got NOTHING but double down on bush/republican policies that have been responsible for the greatest financial crisis since the great depression. AND those were the same policies that were responsible for THE GREAT DEPRESSION in the 1930's These people don't have the capacity to learn anything
-
Well, here's what audi has learned: Conservatives don't practice what they preach. Because it really isn't about fiscal government with them. They just say that. It's about greed, superiority, fear, homophobia, sexism, fusing Christianity into government as much as they can get away with, and the old classic: ...subtle racism. And, by the way, the numbers are out: Obama has spent less than any of the last several Presidents.

You hit the nail on the head audi...The repub followers don't know anything about the way our economy works. And they don't bother to know that a republican pres. has never been responsible for a successful economy. Under republicans pres. there is less economic growth with more unemployment and more class disparity...and this is since the early 1960's. They go around screaming small govt. and they don't know that the republicans have been most responsible for increasing the size of government . As you pointed out they talk about how much money Obama has spent as yet they don't know that Obama has spent less and our government has grown less under Obama than any of the last several presidents So it is about the other things you mentioned...and that is how they are manipulated to vote against their own interests and the interests of their country. What a bunch of lemmings
