Weather is such an interesting thing. Everyone around the world has seen good and bad, terrible storms and lovely sunny days. We've all dealt with something. But we're all so regional about it. When there's a typhoon over here, no one over there even notices. When there's a hurricane over there, we know about it here, but it's not a big news story. I bet when floods kill thousands of people in Myanmar or India, they talk about it for weeks while some of us hear a little something about it in passing.

The bitch of Hurricane season is that gas prices start soaring up! Its already over $4.00 a gallon where I'm at since I last posted here at $3.99 a gallon a couple of days ago! I'm sure its going to go up more by the weekend.
-
I think it's around $2.79 here.Luckily I had filled up when it was tons cheaper before Harvey hit.

It may be high but its a great price where you're at compared to mine at $4.03! It'll go up higher by the weekend!

Just got gas, forgot to check the price. It's a beautiful fall night with Mr. Moonlight shining down, across the water, to my bench on the boardwalk. The weather is perfect, only needed a sweater. Here's an interactive globe, where you can check out the hurricane. https://earth.nullschool

Was watching the live news of Irma throughout the day today. I've been through a few hurricanes in my lifetime, but nothing can compare to this or Harvey.

Harvey was not nice to Texas!

My mom (she lives with me) has no electricity, phone or Internet. Her cellphone works. My daughter who lives 7 miles away does have power. I'm in Branson, MO where it was hot and sunny on Monday!
