Has anyone got a picture of the tour merch on sale for the *UK dates* specifically? Just curious to find out what's available and the pricing before I go to Liverpool.
I took photos of all the tour merch, so I'll try and post it tomorrow. Was traveling today, so didn't have a chance. Trying to get my You Tubes to load There's quite a bit of merchandise available. Wanted to get a few more things like the Garden bag, but due to traveling, had no room. I did get a beautiful T-shirt from the 24th! Did anyone notice part of the NEW sign collapsing during the show? Also, wanted to mention that the fireworks seemed extra sparkly this tine around !! Very nice to watch!

Nobody have news about the soundchecks of two London nights?

The Financial Times and The Times being a little bit mean about the show. http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/c74bfa8e-038d-11e5-a70f-00144feabdc0.html "The ex-Beatle?s show was lacking in energy and poorly paced but lifted by a surprise guest appearance" http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/arts/music/livereviews/article4449815.ece "Watching Paul McCartney?s latest London concert was like being at a wedding and witnessing your embarrassing uncle perform the greatest songs in the world, most of which he had, by some miracle, written. Having his children, grandchildren and wife Nancy in the audience may well have bolstered his enthusiasm, but you did wish McCartney would rein it in a little."

Well in fairness you should also mention all the 5-star reviews Guardian ***** Telegraph ***** Evening Standard ***** Independent ***** The Financial times review criticized Rusty and Brian for looking so bored on stage, though it did acknowledge that this tour had lasted 2 years (so who wouldn't be bored) and it praised Abe for bringing such energy. The Financial Times review also said Paul was in good voice. FYI, the Financial Times never seems to like anything Paul does and neither does the London Times. The London Times review was especially stupid. Because this is the same reviewer who, in writing about New, said the best songs on the album were the optimistic ones and that Paul should play to his strengths and not even try to write dark songs. And then of course in this review of the concert, the very same writer snipes at Paul for being too optimistic. : : : Oh well, it's absolutely fantastic that FOUR major papers gave him 5-star reviews. And it's all subjective anyway. The same papers recently reviewed Eric Clapton's show and the FT and Independent gave him 4 stars, while the Guardian and the Telegraph only gave 3, and the same crabby London times reviewer only gave Eric 2 stars. At any rate, I hope Paul is protecting his voice and not giving too many interviews. I saw on Twitter he was at LIPA today. It'd be too bad if he talks too much and struggles in the next two shows, given all these reviews saying he was in such good voice in London. Fingers crossed for the UK fans.

Well, those reviews are absolute dross. I know it's all a matter of opinion and all, but were the reviewers even at the concerts? Because they have totally missed the point. Probably don't attend concerts unless they are reviewing them. Absolute dross!

I like the jackets Paul is wearing this year, they seem to be a theme on the Shea Stadium '65 jackets, but different colors. Cool!

Since I can't read the reviews without an account, it is hard to judge these comments without reading the reviews total content.

" I know it is different watching youtube clips of concert than being there but I have thought Rusty and Brian have been going through the motions for a couple of years. IMO - they only seem to show energy when they are doing some different songs like songs from "New". I agree, Abe always appears being into the show.

I was in front of Rusty for the first time this time. Personally I thought he was quite animated and was fun to watch! I've also been in front of Brian and have always seen him put on a great show as well? I was thinking to myself how much fun they truly seem to have together! Wix and Abe were in on the fun as well...watched the close ups of Wix playing and we were commenting how he is an orchestra with 10 fingers!! So sorry, but I truly have to disagree...

I think this band and all of Paul's bands are great musicians and performers. But the truth is, it is Paul people are paying top dollar to see, and he delivers. Is it cool that his band gets into it? Yes. But it really isn't necessary. To comment that Brian and Rusty look bored is a pretty ridiculous thing to single out. Elton John's back up band isn't any more "into it." That isn't their job. Their job is to provide back up to Elton jamming his hits. Same with Paul's band.

Exactly. Who actually cares how animated the band is? Paul is the focus. All the band has to do is play well, which they always do.
