The O2, London - 5/23/15 and 5/24/15 - ARCHIVE

: keeping with the nightmare of trying to get a decent ticket, lost a really good seat... I feel as if I'm a little ant climbing a crumbling hill, keep sliding downnnnnn

I bought tickets through O2 Priority (ie. AXS) on Saturday and have still not received a confirmation email. Is anyone else in the same boat?
-
I've seen Paul on pretty much every tour since 1989, and was lucky enough to meet him in the 90's when I was working in a recording studio. A lovely guy and an absolute inspiration to me. I just looked into buying tickets for the O2 in London, and it's £125 for a decent ticket that isn't miles away up in the Gods. What the hell happened to make it cost £250 for a couple of gig tickets? This is way out of the price range of most music fans. I can certainly get the money, but I simply can't justify spending that much on two gig tickets, so I'll be sitting this one out I'm afraid. So disappointed.

I bought a ticket through o2 priority/ axis on sat and I got a confirmation email stating that there would be another email sent with the ticket to be printed off. They should have given u a reference number.

It is the same in the US. Fleetwood Mac played the city I live in this weekend and a ticket in the last row at the very opposite end of the stage was over $100.

Thanks for your response. I have a reference number and the booking shows up on My Events on the AXS website. Am just slightly concerned that the confirmation email has yet to come through, but hopefully the system is just very busy at the moment!

Always worth checking the Junk Mail / Spam Folder on your email clients; quite often had shopping & ticket confirmations flagged as bulk mailings and filed accordingly.

Fleetwood Mac, Madonna, Stones, Streisand, Kate Bush They all charge similar prices Streisand is the most expensive gigs I've ever attended!

Its possible that it wont be sent straight away, but should get it at least 2 weeks before.

Love2travel and i were both on AXS.COM and Ticketmaster at 9.30 raring to go for decent seats, but had to make do with block B1 Row E, which is okay, but the A Blocks for both shows i feel have been snapped up by the vile scalpers before we even had a chance! We were also around for yesterday's AXS presale, but that was a fiasco too, not good really! If people didn't buy from the vultures we wouldn't be in this position,

I did see that one genuine fan; Peter from these boards, got a ticket in A3 for the second night of the o2. I couldn't get anything that decent so didn't bother.

And I snapped up 2nd row A3 seats using PM.Com presale - the pic of the blocks were there - they obviously didn't last long...

that is so great congrats! i'm glad a handful made it to genuine fans, it's just most of them ended up in the hands of touts - such as the 2nd and 3rd rows (at least 20 tickets - which is about half of the 2nd and 3rd rows completely) for 1st show london that i've seen on reselling sites for almost 10 times face value which is why there should've been a better system in place than just "being on the mailing list"..

PM.com more presale tix here http://www.crowdsurge.com/paulmccartney/?event=47501

I also managed to get a ticket in A3 for the first show in the pre sale. I hope most genuine fans also got the floor seats.
