Well a few of my pictures turned out ok! Not as good as some of my other moon pictures but doable. I'm glad I set my alarm to see this.

Most of the East Coast was in the poorest region for the viewing ... here's a video of what we missed from the West Coast: http://www.space.com/19195-night-sky-planets-asteroids-webcasts.html

That's probably about WR104, a star collapse that may have shot a gamma ray beam our way. It is in the direction of the constellation Sagittarius (The Archer). With that and the Yellowstone cauldera, slowly coming back to life, those who don't promote Love and Peace might consider repenting asap.

If they saw the size on the map, of the last super volcano in that area, they would be surprised It makes Krakatoa look minor in comparison! http://www.earthmountainview.com/yellowstone/YellowstoneFalloutAshBed.gif

Michio has a youtube interview about it too. And, another physicist has one about WR104.

I might have seen the one about WR104 a while ago... It was covering asteroids, sun flares, formation of planets, extinctions ...it was really good! I've seen a bunch on the super volcanos, dinosaurs and earthquakes In the animations it turns on like a giant flashlight!

Here's a Great NOVA video on The Edge Of Space and Lightning Sprites, Etc.
And, another Great NOVA on Geology and The Table of Elements... And, an Excellent new one on Quantum Physics... -
Sunset at The North Pole...
-
That is such an awesome photo, someone should paint that!! I am watching the one on Sprites, which is so cool how they move upward to the ionosphere...will check out the others! My new favorite channel is SCI and they had a show on today about finding the event horizon for the dinosaur's extinction because of a 6 mile wide asteroid strike , and then the continual eruption of Krakatoa, and how it keeps rebuilding. Quite interesting! Going to check out your vids... Thanks for posting Steven!
