The Sun, the Moon, and the Stars

Just ran across L2T's Grand Canyon trip post and it made me think of Grand Canyon Milky Way photos that I had seen at APOD. I went there and discovered their today's pic! A Flower On The Sun... Way Cool! http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/image/1502/SunRose_bbso_1152.jpg

It's quite beautiful... and I wonder what the pink star forming regions are, that it refers to? I really love this composite photo... One of my favorite paintings too ...wondering if that's Orion's belt near the moon, and thinking it must be! http://i.imgur.com/iDdWH.jpg The stars look like this on a mountain, so many!!

I think the dark pink light clusters circling the large dark yellow center is what they're talking about.

each galaxy is so different! Going to read more about it this weekend!

It is so overwhelmingly complex...that it boggles the mind's of scholars...yet, it is so incredibly simple...that we seem to more truly understand it...as children

We are all made from star stuff... The child understands this and it's mind is still open to wonder, possibilities, unlimited belief and the magic that is everywhere... http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t620/love2travel6/P3110991_zpsfd1534d7.jpg

Beautiful!!! You reminded me of this Moody Blues song... The Eyes Of A Child
...and Candle Of Life comes up next!ps...your turn in the big box

Two great Moody Blues songs!
Speaking of the Candle of life, it reminded me of the celebration of the Lunar New Year, and recently celebrated.... which I am going to have to see one of these years.... It is almost like stars isn't it? http://cdn.24.co.za/files/Cms/General/d/2600/66138be077ea477e82be4e9cc9c7154c.jpg

The Moon Over Pigeon Point Lighthouse... One of my favorite photos.

I can only see gray clouds with snow falling from them .... I trust that the moon and stars and the beautiful jewels of the universe are still there

Is this a study in optimism and pessimism?
I love the way that the photo was made to ray out the lighthouse's light

Have you been there Steven? I remember you posting this before. It is truly so very beautiful at night! I've been there during the ice flower season with beautiful ice flowers and the coastline, but never at night... http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t620/love2travel6/10974423_10155411560540001_7101945497493346162_o_zpstdvxziu5.jpg Solar Halo with cloud/contrail piercing the Sun, NJ shore 16 February 2015. Ice crystals in upper atmosphere act like prisms, refracting sunlight.

That coastline is very awesome!! I have photos somewhere, pre digital... I would love to have seen this at night, although the drive out there along the cliff in the dark...
The ice plants looked like this all along the ocean... just beautiful.... http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fDUoUzEEvHo/U9G2-ZiWreI/AAAAAAAACD4/Q5IIelCMfSk/s1600/428084_10200512285067231_1075938819_n.jpg Here's a picturesque Venus & Mars by Moonlight http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/image/1502/2015_02_20_conj_bourque.jpg

Just saw this and thought it was really interesting the pattern that the sun makes in a year. http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap020709.html Also saw this cosmic ice sculptures of the Carina Nebula and it is blowing my mind... Just mind boggling how this can be in a nebula that is usually so disordered...
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-FwDErW4PZGE/VC0w3t1s8sI/AAAAAAAErQ4/GhhUozcDvkE/w736-h1118/ee%2BGG.jpg It looks like pixilation of the photo.. then there is a smaller one below it..

Absolutely Amazing!!! It is curious how the sun's pattern forms an infinity sign? Must be from the axis tilt. I wonder if the infinity sign is not part of the TOE equation? This is the equation that I posted online just in time for the 100th anniversary of E=MC2 (E=MC2)<oO< oO= advanced infinity...(inward and outward... forever forever)

I like that, thanks for explaining that, I didn't know what that meant... kind of like a mobius strip...inside outside and all around!! Reading up on Einstein now... I wish I had taken Physics... but theres so much online now. Like one Quantum Physicist had said to me, he said not many people actually know(can tell) if he's telling the truth or not ...
Would love to pop into a college for a talk on some of these subjects... Don't understand the TOE equation, but it has to be the most simple explanation... Occam's Razor...
