That blue comet is really beautiful and the Orange Aldebaran as well!!!
Size comparisons in the Univerese, pretty amazing

Amazing Video!!! And, according to my research, our own universe could be observed as a tiny speck itself.
Here's that NOVA I was telling you about...

Earth with a Martian point of view.

^ Those JPL photos are my favorites!Â
Just saw this great 3D Magnetospheric Mission. Â Was glad to read that they are monitoring it, considering what happened to Mars!

SUPER-Blue-Blood Moon (eclipse) early morning on the 31st
Super = very close and larger looking than normal
Blue= 2nd full moon in the month
Blood= the reddish tint that occurs when the earth's shadow passes over it
-
^ Didn't realize the red tint was from the Earth's shadow...
A really cool pic of the Sun and Venus. Â This is from 2012, Â wondering what the size of that hole is now?

I should have been clearer. When the shadow of the earth perfectly eclipses the moon, it is like a 360 degree sunrise/sunset being projected onto the face of the moon. It should actually be called a Sunrise or Sunset moon depending on whether you're an optimist or pessimist perhaps. Lol It would be cool to see a picture of the earth from the center of the moon at that time. Earth with an orange ring around it!!! Extremely Cool!!!

THE FALCONS HAVE LANDED!!! Very Cool!!!

Great APOD!!!

Beautiful! I also liked the musically interactive Hubble Ultra Deep Field one!

The sliver of a moon looked so cool this morning. . It was low in the sky ... I didn't see it until I drove to certain areas ..
The sliver I saw over water had a reddish tone ...it was stunning ( It looked like something on a Nova, Cosmos, The Universe, Discovery, NASA etc... show). As it got higher in the sky, the red faded to a light yellow / white ...
One of those had to see it to know what I am saying type of things ....
It started my morning off nice
* in the background I was listening to Because (from the Beatles anthology album ... voices only)
What a beautiful combination of sight and song.

Did you get it to work? As you move the cursor over a celestial object it will make a piano key sound. Here's a cool Astronomy site. He was on C2C last night and mentioned that new Aurora phenomena about the purple light sabre phenomena that has been occuring at the poles. Â http://drsky.com/
