Someone inside NASA stole a 600 pound safe full of Moonrocks!
That's funny because an old Wonder Woman show that I ran across last night was about someone having stolen some Moonrocks.
They had said they were stolen by some dude from "inside" NASA, in order to impress a girl... They didn't mention it was Wonder Woman tho
Wonder Woman made a big impression on the thief when she moonrocked him in the end.

They don't call her Wonder Woman, for nothing
Loved this show... the only woman role models that could be strong back then...oh and the Bionic Woman too.... -

Winter Solstice! December 22, 2015.
And the days start getting longer again for us here in the northern hemisphere. Happy first day of summer for our friends in the southern hemisphere. Like a seasonal gift from the universe.

^^ Star Light...Star Bright!

I read this Christmas there is to be a rare full moon! Rare as another full moon will not coincide with Christmas for 19 years from that one. Strange Magic!
-
Strange Magic indeed Kittay! Hope it's not cloudy...
-
The last Christmas Full Moon was in 1977 (38 years ago) and the next one will be in 2034, which is 19 years from now, which is half of 38! Interesting mathematical cycle there! Unfortunately, it was overcast and it wasn't observable for me. Gah!
-
I plan on being somewhere warm and tropical for that one

Ring of Fire. A picture taken by NASA of a Northern Lights from space https://poeturja.files.wordpress.com/2014/11/nasa-northern-lights-ring-of-fire-from-space.jpg?w=532

^ Now, that is extremely cool!!! Quite logical that they could look that way from space. Beautiful Photo, L2T!!!!

^ Thanks for resizing SurSteven (have to find an Apple resizer ) Was on a plane from the UK and the flight attendant somehow knew to come up to me, and tell me to open my window shade to see an aurora borealis. It was all green and wavy and lasted for at least 300 miles! It was right about where that one is. Wish there were colors like that!
-
I saw an aurora from a plane once. It was visually more spectacular than any CGI movie. I always seem to fly at night, which is not so great for looking out the window most of the time. But during aurora season, that's the way to go.
