Spectacular collision of suns will create new star in night sky in 2022 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2017/01/06/spectacular-collision-suns-will-create-new-star-night-sky-2022/ Now 1800 years later the light from that collision will finally arrive ...
We've all been waiting 1800 years and now we have to wait another 5? Someone needs to make light move faster. We're busy people down here.

Close up views of the occasion would have been very deadly.

If it takes 1800 years for the light created by the collision of 2 stars to reach earth. How did they know they collided?

They plotted their trajectory in time and Space? I really can't wait to see this, it should be very visible!!! Just like they know the Pillars of Creation were already destroyed by an explosion near by. Yet that view has not reached us yet... http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/crux/2015/01/06/pillars-of-creation-destroyed/#.WHXDj3g8KrU

We're Americans. We don't worry about pansy double star collisions with more explosive force than a billion Hiroshimas and enough radiation to kill a twinkie.

^Well, that's a fantastic photo!!! So proud of Elon Musk, getting another ship off the ground, so quickly after the mystery fire!!! Lately I've been thinking to check out Cocoa Beach area for a possible winter place to retire to. I can go see all the rockets take off. Heard they are really loud!!! So Steve, looked through that photographers photos, he has some really nice ones. Thought you might like this one ...

Thanks for sharing that link!! I have to find my 3D glasses!!! Really liked the Hirise Browse... You can travel around and see the evidence of running water!!! Going to find out how long ago Mars lost it's atmosphere.
Have you seen anything like that for the moon? What are the hi res photos from? Cool to see Olympus Mons and not sure what the indentation opposite would be?

We've all seen time lapse video of the night sky.
Here's what it should really look like. -

That is an extraordinarily beautiful nebula, I almost posted that one too! Yes, the Hellas Basin, that's it... Notice on this topography 8000 m high and 8000 meters low,
I remember you said about the impact, causing Olympus Mons and there it is!

"I was strolling on Mars one day..." Was just wondering about living underwater on Earth?
