So... why aren't you here?

Trying to guess the new royal's name (not really). But, I HAD speculated that it would be nice if one of his names were Charles, after Prince Charles, and I liked Arthur because they could call him Art. Louie, I thought too stuffy. Didn't guess that one. Surprised my speculation landed on 2 out of 3. Not bad for someone who wasn't really trying.

Hi Fan4-45years! How are you? Yes, L2T and I met here on the forum! We're still going strong, we're going to Austin in October to see Paul at the Austin City Limits Music Festival! I can't wait!

Because "there" is subjective, prejorative and rejectifying.

Been having some health issues so haven't been around much due to being so tired after work. Working with my dr though and narrowing things down, so hopeful I'll feel better soon!

The last time I flew I finished my book and left it on the plane thinking to pay it forward. Probably will do that again.

Thanks for all the good wishes! I think we are on the right track to figuring this out, and now I just wait for treatment options and on my way to feeling more like myself.

I leave my books in hotels. I never thought about planes.

I'm going to my high school reunion in just a few days. That really did sneak up fast.
I've been thinking about Billy Joel's "The Great Suburban Showdown" a lot lately.
[not embedded because that would be too 21st century]

My new job has turned out to require about a 4-5 hour commute each day. I’ve driven 10,000 miles since March, so that gives me 2-4 free hours a day for everything else. Just sleepy every day.

That's too much. I'd either move or quit. One hour on a train was too much for me.

And don't forget about all the gas you are using. Can you do any of your work from home?

If everyone could send a prayer my way, I’m in the running for a new job project that wouldn’t require the long commute. So fingers crossed I can get much closer to home!
