My new job has turned out to require about a 4-5 hour commute each day. I’ve driven 10,000 miles since March, so that gives me 2-4 free hours a day for everything else. Just sleepy every day.
That's too much. I'd either move or quit. One hour on a train was too much for me.
And don't forget about all the gas you are using. Can you do any of your work from home?
If everyone could send a prayer my way, I’m in the running for a new job project that wouldn’t require the long commute. So fingers crossed I can get much closer to home!
fingers crossed!

I thought of joining the group of those not here...
I wouldn't be able to tell you why....
Here is what I would do.......

I wonder where everyone has gone. There really can't be so many that can't get back in with the new site & all?
I'm here...
-
Maybe because of things like that! What the heck happened with the gif I posted?
-
I logged in and by the headlines thought that I logged into The National Enquire or Star magazine or those magazines/ newspaper looking things that you see at a grocery store check out lane.
I tried again and realised that I am on this site and The National Enquire looking headlines are here to stay.

I'm always Here, There and Everywhere

Health reasons. Plus my elderly Mom needs a lot of my attention. She's in hospital again. This time pneumonia. It all makes me sooooo tired, I go to bed like an old lady! LOL (notthattheresanythingwrongwiththeelderly!).
......this board has changed a lot lately. Where's the search button? I can't find my "In A Heartbeat" thread.
-
All the best to you, your mom and family, Laura!!!
-
You've made the board a better place today by being here Laura. Good thoughts and wishes for your family and keep taking good care of yourself too.

There is a magnifying glass in the upper right corner, next to the envelope next to the stamp that is supposed to be a person.

The title of this topic always baffles me. Everyone posting and reading is here.
However, in the recent past, I was not here because I went to Barcelona. Other than the fact that 120% of the population smokes, it is a wonderful city. If you haven't been, go. The potatoes are worth the price of admission alone.

Glad you are safe. With all the recent weather / rough nature occurances.
The reason for the thread as stated on page one:
You either aren't here to say at this time or you will have to log in to say ... if you stay as a guest to peek in, then you cannot say...
All in fun

Barcelona is a very safe city. Some people are still upset about the whole Catalonia independence thing, and there are posters and yellow ribbons all over the place, but I never saw any protests or disruptions. The biggest safety issue I saw was all the smoking.

I'm not here again. At least, in the future. I'm starting my new job in Amsterdam. Wish me luck. No, that's bad luck. You're supposed to say break a leg. But that would be terrible. If I break a leg, I can kiss that job goodbye. We need a new phrase. How about "fly like an eagle"?

For the new job...how 'bout "Knock Em Dead"? No, I guess that wouldn't be good. Committing a murder in another country. Maybe just "go Get Em"? Ehh...I'll stick to Best of everything to you in the new job!
-
Thank you. I managed not to murder anyone.
Now, I am here, but I suppose that's off topic.

No! Tried during 4 different sales too, nothing. I was logged in RIGHT at 10am for the last sale, which was the general sale and right at 10 it was already saying there were no tickets left. I hate that Ticketmaster has it's own resale site now, things have gotten much worse since then as they have no desire to stop the scalpers that will get them more money on their own resale site.
