It was a certain Mr MP who gave an unknown band called The Beatles their first ever TV appearance back in days of yore on Granada Television here in the UK. He was like the UK version of Johnny Carson......and interviewed all the Hollywood, musical and sporting greats.....like Ali, Jimmy Cagney, Bob Mitchum, The Fonda's, Astaire, Bette, Cary, Bing, Hope, Niven, J & Y, Pauly, George, Richard Starkey esq., Peter Sellers, etc etc

GYPSYGIRL the Rasputin book was SO interesting! Gee, and to think the intermingling of the most diverse group of characters was the end of the Romanov Dynasty. It just blows my mind, but yet does not surprise me. don't know what to read next...
