How Does Your Garden Grow?
-
I love them! Going out to move stuff into the shade...this heat is too much for the roses!
-
Rose bush is blooming again
-
nasty squash bugs have attacked our yellow squash! Tomatoes & eggplants have been picked.
-
Rose bloomed and died while I was on vacation.
-
The Sunflowers haven't been eaten! Some creature at my old house would always chew the heads off! My hybiscus have been really happy with the extra waterings! Have to plant the black eyed Susan's, whoses eyes are really brown!!!
-
Hubby mowed lawn today & did some serious weed whacking.
-
Bush with little purple flowers needs to be cut back from the windows.
-
Today got red pepper, plum tomato and a cute little round tomato!
-
Sounds like a great salad. I did some pruning and received about 10 mosquito bites in return.
-
There are little sap balls where I pruned the bush. I hope that is normal

evergreen type bush? Yes, they all bleed a little.
-
Yep, an evergreen. Makes me sad to cut and make it bleed, but it was getting unwieldy.
-
watch out...that sap is sticky. I was just picking up some pine cones from a tree in the backyard & gosh those are even sappy & way sticky.
-
Planted a double cranberry conehead plant yesterday. Pulled up a huge weed & the root looks like a disfigured sweet potato.
-
Did some major lopping of bush trees that grew taller than the roof line. Likely dropping ants on to the house.
-
Yesterday our neighbor hired someone to clear out the brush in her backyard. I noticed a big hole where the evergreen tree was supposed to be. Her tree guy had reached over and cut off the limbs of our tree on one whole side--the side that made the hedge between our houses so we both had privacy. She has NEVER asked us to cut it back or even breathed a word that she didn't want our limbs coming over to her yard (they grow up, not out). People never cease to amaze me.

THOSE are MY neighbors! On both sides. Privacy is important to MOST people.

We were calm and didn't say anything. Just went back there and looked at what he did. When he saw me writing down his license tags he began to verbally accost me, spouting his version of what the law says. My husband told him to get out of our yard. I have been a friend to this neighbor ever since we moved here. We intend to find out if she told him to do this or if he just decided to do it. Now I understand what you are going through.

The guy on one side cut a tree down behind our shed (but left the stump). We had been out of town. A few days later I saw him back there & I ran out & said "don't cut down any more of my trees". He claimed it was on his property. : Now we have put up the fence for the dog & guess what? The stump is inside the fence! His property...yeah right.

What a jerk! Sounds like he KNEW it was your tree.
