Someone in an earlier post said to vote --- for how things are going in your area ... in my area we have high unemployment (that has been going on since 2009) ..... all starting in 2009: above the national average in unemployment high foreclosures houses underwater high bankruptcy higher debts emergency managers for cities, schools, local government - *all were better 4 years ago .... Good point .... I should consider all these and ask myself am I better off now or better off 4 years ago
Maybe if you hear it from your guy, it'll make a little more sense: Gov. Romney: It's ?Silly? to Expect Economy to Turn Around Overnight In our latest find from the Massachusetts archives, Mitt Romney responds to a question about lackluster job growth during his tenure as governor: ?If you are going to suggest to me that somehow the day I got elected, somehow jobs should have immediately turned around, well, that would be silly.? http://www.americanbridgepac.org/2012/07/wire/gov-romney-its-silly-to-expect-economy-to-turn-around-overnight/
Spain's new president said the same before getting elected.

21st Century Paul:
Other funny thing is how every president blames the one before. If you want to get "to the cause of why things are this way now", you will get nowhere.... You can go back to Bush... or to the 70s... or the World War 2, or the Great Depression and so back in time forever to before the apes walked the Earth... no matter the cause you will call "the cause of it", that thing was caused by other things and so on... Finding and learning all this can be great for education, curiosity, whiling away the time... but if it's only for deciding your vote, just one vote out of hundred millions is not worth so much effort, one can't change much the result... It's not like a decision where you are one in a group of five or four...
"Those who do not learn from the mistakes of the past are condemned to repeat them." -Martin Luther King
Yes, and that's majority.

Well, there's a long list of celebrities who have been embarrassed by their parents. They have all been succeeded by the latest...Brad Pitt's mega-conservative, delusional mother: "Jane Pitt, a.k.a. Brad Pitt's mom, wrote a letter to her local newspaper that urged Christians to vote for Mitt Romney because Barack Obama is "a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage." http://img.perezhilton.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/brad-pitt-mom__oPt.jpg http://perezhilton.com/tag/president/

Makes one wonder if these people have ever...really studied The New Testament...in depth...and in context.

The atheists have. Seriously. Has the typical American Christian studied? Somewhat. Others quite deeply. When it comes to practice, however, we tend to just pick our favorite parts. And if a portion of The Bible works against the conservative interest, they just do another Revised Standard version... ...and add terms that didn't even exist back then.

I'm stockpiling popcorn for the debates when Obama destroys Romney. That is, if the allegedly "liberal media" don't do it first.

If mittens thinks he can get away with not releasing his tax returns he can try to wait until the debates and then Obama will slice & dice him in front of the world Can't you picture mittens squirming more than usual and talking through both sides of his mouth Yep, get the popcorn ready

Just had this thought: I'll bet ya' ($10,000 ...kidding) I'll bet that Romney plans to go the entire campaign without revealing his returns. I wouldn't put it past him to think he could actually get away with it.

He thinks people won't notice but the drum roll is getting louder and it's NOT going to stop. And you have to wonder why doesn't he just release the returns and get it over with : : : Well he's holding them because there's probably lots he doesn't want people to know maybe even illegal We've never seen mittens squirm like he's going to be sweating and squirming in the debates

For all that is holy and decent, I hope you are right. God help us if this sociopath gets the keys to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

83 percent of doctors have considered quitting over Obamacare ... ?Doctors clearly understand what Washington does not ? that a piece of paper that says you are ?covered? by insurance or ?enrolled? in Medicare or Medicaid does not translate to actual medical care when doctors can?t afford to see patients at the lowball payments, and patients have to jump through government and insurance company bureaucratic hoops,? ... http://dailycaller.com/2012/07/09/report-83-percent-of-doctors-have-considered-quitting-over-obamacare/?print=1

Actually many doctors want a single payer system http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/06/10/health-professionals-tell_n_213873.html They like Obamacare because they make treatment decisions for their patients not insurance companies but many still want to eliminate insurance companies totally. I come from a physician's family and they all hate insurance companies.

The Republican response: "The American people have spoken -- they just don't want this highly beneficial element of this Socialistic law. You can keep your big gum'mit money!" (or some bullcrap along those lines)

Great Moments In Republican Patriotism Remember this classic from 2009? http://www.bartcop.com/gop-olympics-loses.jpg Chicago loses Olympics bid; conservatives rejoice: http://www.salon.com/2009/10/02/olympics_6/ "It?s not often that conservatives celebrate the U.S. losing out to countries like Brazil and Spain, especially not when the loss involves a prominent event like the Summer Olympics. But when the International Olympic Committee eliminated Chicago as a potential host for the 2016 games in the first round of voting on Friday, the right broke out the champagne." http://media.salon.com/2009/10/chicago_loses_olympics_bid_conservatives_rejoice.jpg

Just overnight, I have noticed a louder demand for Romney's tax records. His reluctance is without precedent -- and it reallly is startingto look like something unethical -- and, possibly, illegal -- may be going on here. something kinda' stinks regarding that one account that he had switched to his wife's name the day before he was sworn in as governor of Mass.
