I LOVE #10!

Good to see all your heads exploding
Exploding? We're thrilled that this will be the final nail in Obama's proverbial coffin...only one third of the country supported this bill prior to today's ruling...and no one changed their mind since...Millions of dollars of campaign money was sent to Romney's compaign in the wake of this decision...and it's on tape that Obama lied about this in an attempt to sway congress as well as the court of public opinion... Besides we also got the Holder thing in our pocket now as well...it wouldn't matter if the case was dropped tomorrow, we hooked that lying killing bastage with a legit contempt charge. And Obama threw his hat in that ring after he felt it necessary to apply an executive order (to cover up a murder or such a badly botched and contrived plan, it might as well be murder)...all because Obama has a love affair with illegal aliens
I just don't know how you can endorse Romney with a straight face.

Yep, #10 will help to bring health care costs down. And this year a lot of people and employers will be receiving rebate checks from insurance companies who overspent How cool is that :

Why couldn't the original thread just have pages cut from it like other threads?
There were too many thread started on various topics and we forced to have one thread to talk about any thing political. So like health reform bill, certain headlines about a politician and or any thread that talked about something other than How Cute Paul is goes here.
You totally misunderstood what I said. I meant the original political thread could have been trimmed. doesn't really matter anyway.
It does to me .... slightly bums me out .... I didn't know about a new thread ... if I did ... I would have started part 2 .... oh well

yep, that's why I said they should have just cut some of the pages. Like they do on all other threads.

No wonder the GOP is being paid to be against this law. It benefits the people.

The overwhelming majority of the south didn't want slavery abolished. Which side of history was right in that case?
-
What stupid logic I sure as hell didn't want the Iraq war or any of bush's sh*t but my taxes still went for his follies and lots of people were killed in his name. And he lied for the reasons and didn't let the people decide And you wingers are whining about a penalty on not buying Insurance that helps you, your family and makes your country stronger and more economically secure and actually saves lives. Stunning emotional disconnect totally lacking in human qualities and reasoning

Something to ponder and not Cover-Up Remember that ObamaCare was never about health care. It was about four distinctly OTHER things: 1. To create a huge new revenue source so the leftist kooks can continue to fund their socialist state. 2. To massively expand government and federal power. 3. To get everyone---literally, every American---dependent on government. 4. To create an immovable linchpin program for epic wealth redistribution. http://monicamemo.typepad.com/weblog/2012/06/obamacare-ruling-what-the-bleep.html

Oh Happy Day The US joins civilized nations Here's what affects you now that Obamacare has survived! 1) Insurance companies can no longer impose lifetime coverage limits on your insurance. Never again will you face the risk of getting really sick and then, a few months in, having your insurer tell you, "Sorry, you've 'run out' of coverage." 2) Lifetime and annual caps will eliminated entirely by 2014!. 3) Insurers can no longer tell kids with preexisting conditions that they'll insure them "except for" the preexisting condition. That's called preexisting condition exclusion, and it's out the window. 4) A special, temporary program will help adults with preexisting conditions get coverage. It expires in 2014, when the health insurance exchanges?basically big "pools" of businesses and individuals?come on-line. That's when all insurers will have to cover everyone, preexisting condition or not. 5) Insurance companies can't drop you when you get sick, either?this plan means the end of "rescissions." This is HUGE! 6) You can stay on your parents' insurance until you're 26. 7) Begin of the end of the 'doughnut hole' in senior prescription coverage Medicare's preventive benefits now come with a free visit with your primary care doctor every year to plan out your prevention services. And there are no more co-pays for preventative services in Medicare. 9) THIS IS A BIG ONE !!: Small businesses get big tax credits?up to 50 percent of premium costs?for offering health insurance to their workers. A big tax cut for small business!!!! 10) Insurers with unusually high administrative costs have to offer rebates to their customers, and every insurance company has to reveal how much it spends on overhead. Ins. companies have to spend at least 85% of your premium cost on PATIENT care No more outrageous CEO salaries!!! 11) Free birth control and other preventative services for women, unless you work for a faith-based organization that opposes birth control. Go ahead repub wingers try to tell the American people how it's so much better to have your insurance co. drop you when you get sick or tell you sorry but you're too sick for us BYE! And then no other insurance co. will take you because you have a preexisting condition. Here is your nominee mittens talking about how he passed this same plan in MA...he was very proud of it unfortunately he SOLD HIS SOUL to win the repub. primary. He stands on a bed of sand...can't trust what he says or what he will do
There is no real mittensThe Health Care law is ALL about making health care more affordable for ALL and making it accessible to millions more who need it. It also will SAVE MONEY FOR THE GOVERNMENT AND MAKE OUR TAXES MORE EFFECTIVE by eliminating trips to the ER by people who can not or just will not buy insurance as those trips to the ER have to be paid by our taxes. I like all the new provisions above and ALL will help to bring down costs of health care in general by giving access to preventive care etc. US PAYS MORE and has LESS ACCESS to health care and higher infant mortality rates than 30 other developedl nations http://articles.cnn.com/2011-11-02/opinion/opinion_walker-infant-mortality_1_infant-mortality-rate-of-white-babies-american-public-health-association?_s=PM:OPINION
The most recent statistics from 2007 show that the U.S. rate of almost seven deaths per 1,000 live births ranked the U.S. behind the majority of other developed countries. Thirty developed countries have lower infant mortality rates, according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, all of them spending much less than we do on health care Within the United States, infant mortality ranges from a high of almost 10 deaths per 1,000 in Mississippi and Alabama to about five deaths per 1,000 in Washington and Massachusetts. Although the overall rates have been slowly declining since 2000, the huge gap between whites and blacks continues to exist. American women who are most likely to lose their babies are non-Hispanic black women, with a rate almost 2 1/2 greater than that for non-Hispanic white women.
Really interesting that Mississippi and Alabama (2 OF THE REDDEST/REPUBLICAN) STATES have the highest mortality and access problems. These are the people brain washed into voting against their own interests. Obamacare will SAVE LIVES AND MONEY!...so of course the republicans want to repeal it

You're welcomed to contribute to the discussion. Mustangsally10 has provided crystal-clear details about the Affordable Care Act, and she's been met with irrelevant retorts. Again. Frustrating, I know.

Definitely seems like the same four folks (the 2 lefties vs. the 2 righties) going back n' forth. At least one side is putting out the facts for those who want it.
