When Republican Congressman King makes those type comments, I believe it helps the average person wonder if he's getting payoffs from the Party or someone else. I know these same guys would have had a heart attack if Obama ever said anything barely in that neighborhood. These unresponsible comments that are being made, are so lame, and see through, and I truly believe it's finally making average Republicans see it for what it is... polls are dropping, votes are falling.
Obama would have never said anything like that. Any SANE person would NEVER force their daughter or any other female to carry a criminal rapist's baby. It just shows how far gone people like Steve King are..

They must be getting payoffs in Swiss accounts or something equally bizarre. Just crazy talk, every day.

Just saw this very interesting video by Maryann Williamson. Didn't realize that the person who theorized trickle down economic theory also said that we will need a universal basic income. This is because the basic income will stimulate spending and provide money for food and other necessities.
Due to automation at our front door, many jobs will soon become obsolete. Trump has been putting our money into the top small wedge of wealthy Americans, which has had the effect of giving big business the ultimate control over the majority of Americans working for them. The smaller raises in salary over the past decades as well as the cuts in best practices is driving a wedge between the haves and the have nots. Plans are in place to further cut money to programs that provide basic food and necessities to the people who need it most. Is our America going to start starving its children? We are also pouring money into fossil fuels, further fueling global warming and taking the focus off of make sense energy, such as wind, thermal and geothermal. The rest of the world is moving forward and ahead of us in this forward direction! We are being left behind, especially our middle class. Will we ever be able to get ahead again?
Marianne is proposing $1,000/month for each person as stimulus for the economy, as well as free college for everyone. That is also a great idea, as millions of graduates are now shouldered with tremendous college bills. She hasn't been given much chance to talk at the debates, yet I'm seeing a very astute, compassinate person, who is also very in tune with putting billions toward the people and not a steel wall. Wondering what else she has to say?

We need leaders who promote and project peaceful peace and economic fairness to all people. Money is a medium of exchange to buy the works of others. The LOVE of money by some is The Root Of All Evil like Jesus said, and is destroying the planet and the human race.

In case you missed it, the president looked up to the sky and then declared himself "The Chosen One"(You're not supposed to say that outloud ) and then made a later commented that Democratic Jews should recognize Israel as their rightful place, where their loyalties should lie ... (and vote for the Chosen One...the king of the Jews!? What???) The calls for a replacement has begun.

If he looked up at the sky there must have been another solar eclipse.
If your president is king of the Jews, I am Paul McCartney's mistress.

Yes. This has already begun.

LOL about the eclipse...perhaps that is why he seems so blind!!!
It is dreadful about children going hungry in this day and age, in this country no less...
Just watched a documentary about the Monument Men and the billions of dollars of art, sculptures, thousands and thousands of gold rings and teeth plundered from concentration camps, by the top eschelon of Germans. There is still so much missing and thousands of pieces of artwork was found in the home of one top member of the German reich. They used ancient Christian relics as talismans, which they thought would protect their evil deeds. Just gave me the chills... pure evil

Today, finding out about the children who have come to this country as very young children, to receive medical cures that have saved their lives, because their countries do not have the technology to help them. Those children are now receiving letters, giving them only 30 days to be deported to a certain death.
Can you imagine, your child... dying, and through a miracle... being accepted by a medical staff in a far away country. Your child is helped and miraculously LIVES!!!! They have been living in this wonderful country, being kept alive by modern medicine. After 10 years they recieve notice to return to their country of origin in 30 days, no appeals given. Your child now older, knows they will die without the modern technology. They no longer have anyone to return to, and don't even remember their country of origin, since they were so young when they arrived in this new wonderful country.
This unfolded in front of my eyes on TV. The Republicans in the hearing, not yet realizing the children were present, made comments such as they must be bad people, murderers and juvenile delinquents...the usual. Then the children were brought out to testify... Obviously, severely, medically needy. They told how they didn't want to go back and die. It was so pathetic, the flimsy comments then made to those children. One 15 year old girl is supposed to leave THIS Saturday! I can't belive this is happening in the US!

Nancy Pelosi announcing formal Impeachment Inquiry

Appearance of going rogue, big time. Does putting your hand on a Bible and swearing to uphold the constitution, have no meaning? Or do some Christians no longer believe the Word, or the 10 commandments...
In my life, I have never seen so many Self avowed Christians, keep their mouths so tightly closed, in the face of such shocking, nefarious and shamefully disgraceful behavior. Hardly a peep.

Wow, never thought I would see this poll on FOX News...shocking!!!

In my experience, Christians are the least likely to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. In the United States*, being a Christian has less to do with peace, love and understanding and is more about finding an excuse to rationalize hatred of people who are not Christian, brown people, women, homosexuals, immigrants or anyone else who is not "one of us". The obvious irony is that Jesus was a brown, Jewish immigrant who condemned the rich and told people to love their enemies.
* This is not just in the United States, of course, but 90% of the Christians I've known were American.
"A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:34-35
According to Jesus, not a single politician who claims to be a Christian is a disciple.

Having grown up in a very loving Christian family atmosphere and with great humanitarian friends around, I had grown up quite insulated from some of the true evils and ugliness in the World. The Golden Rule and commandments were paramount. In particular the thought to love one another brought the realization that loving the good was always much easier, than finding love for the bad and the evil doers. That is the challenging part of being a good Christian. I always assumed that wholesome virtuous leadership and the words of Gandhi "Be the Change you want to see in the world" was the path to a better more peaceful world.
It seems many good humanitarian people today are having extreme difficulty with their lifelong beliefs and with what is happening in the world today.
2 Timothy 2:14-19 (NIV)
Dealing With False Teachers
14 Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of TRUTH. 16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly.17 Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeusand Philetus, 18 who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”
There are millions and millions of us in daily prayer and keeping strong.

Anyone watching the Impeachment public testimonies?
The questioning by the Congress lawyers was very interesting. Then the Senate lawyer started in asking about Hillary Clinton! It's just like the Hurricane hitting Alabama, Trump just can't get off of the Hurricane, Hillary Clinton, or Obama! What a circus.
Those who hate you, don't win, unless you hate them, then you destroy yourself. ~ Richard M. Nixon

What is the one about throwing someone out a plane!? The more I read, the more this becomes clear.

Well, the House impeached him, for all the good it will do since the spineless Republicans in the Senate will be in the majority and will not impeach him. I don't even want to say or hear his name - same as with John's killer! 🤮
-
This is a fascinating book and would recommend it as a peek inside...from an Anonymous senior administration official. Here's a bit to read from the book.

What Trump will do about being Impeached, from a long time employee.
This can give you an idea as to why the Republicans were so spineless. To cut it short, you can go to 2:18, however it's pretty interesting all the way through.

I heard about this book on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah!
