Disagreeing with lies and misinformation is necessary. The repubs. are running a campaign based on lies and ignorance of facts It's not a matter of difference of opinion it's a matter of ignorance or dismissal of facts So why do the repubs. vote against there own interests : : : : Why are they unable to communicate what plan the repubs have to improve anything : : : : Why are repubs unable to say how their party will help their own lives : : : : :

Haha Former republican governor of Florida endorses Obama Read his reasons here: http://www.tampabay.com/opinion/columns/former-gov-charlie-crist-heres-why-im-backing-barack-obama/1247631 Perfect timing like a pie in mittens face right before convention in FL somes quotes from his article:
And the president invested in our retirement security by strengthening Medicare. The $716 billion in savings his opponents decry today extended the life of the program by nearly a decade and are making sure taxpayer dollars aren't wasted in excessive payments to insurance companies or fraud and abuse. His opponents would end the Medicare guarantee by creating a voucher that would raise seniors' costs by thousands of dollars and bankrupt the program. We have more work to do, more investments to make and more waste to cut. But only one candidate in this race has proven a willingness to navigate a realistic path to prosperity. As Republicans gather in Tampa to nominate Mitt Romney, Americans can expect to hear tales of how President Obama has failed to work with their party or turn the economy around. But an element of their party has pitched so far to the extreme right on issues important to women, immigrants, seniors and students that they've proven incapable of governing for the people. Look no further than the inclusion of the Akin amendment in the Republican Party platform, which bans abortion, even for rape victims. The truth is that the party has failed to demonstrate the kind of leadership or seriousness voters deserve.
read the article yourself from someone who knows the repubs very well. There will be lots of crossovers from repub. to Dem this election due to the repubs. extreme stance on many issues of importance to Americans

Disgust doesn't even BEGIN to describe how I feel about Mitt Romney's unconscionable, blatant lies about Obama and Medicare. I'm saddened that he's using racist, dog-whistle politics, making another false claim that Obama took the work requirement out of Clinton's welfare-to-work legislation from the '90s. This is why he has a 0% popularity rating with black Americans*. Willard Romney is the worst kind of liar. And his supporters are too ignorant to realize they're being stoked like an angry fire. *=the overwhelming majority of persons on welfare are Caucasian single mothers

I not a conservative but would like to weight in. Do you think that Rep moderate can't get support in their party so their forced to just say what the party is catering too. Facts are Rep need a overhaul. It was party of smart business man that basically started to cater to too much to the supper rich and than started to use the conservatives to to get voted in.. Internet has brought together a lot nutters. All these religion hooking up to become one voice in politics. Than you their agenda, abortion everything else. Every extremist I met that religious is a Rep. So if they want to elected, they have to do a balancing act, to all these factions. Bottom line it expensive to get elected and you make mistakes there too much on the line. Look what Todd Adkins will do to the senate race.

Have you watch the movie ZEITGEIST? It tell what happening to this county and the world, why and it going to make you go wow. It always been the super rich controlling the masses. One ways is media. So you views are formed. Who of us could even run and make it in politics with the media.. No good people with any power or charisma will be allowed to raise up against those who have all the money and power. They'll be knock them off. Martin Luther King..dead Kennedy dead dead dead Ghandi Dead John Lennon dead anyone who is influential and not part of the powers to be who have the ablitiy to call these people out and get support are gone . Same with politician. A good man like Ron Paul will not get any media exposure and will be undermined. Every debate Ron Paul was voted the favorite. He wanted to have a investigation of the federal reserve. Assange is a prime example

Are you suggesting that no one should go to a theatre, see the movie and decide for themselves? If so, are you also against "All Things Considered"? For general information: the author of the book on which the movie is based is from India (perhaps other readers of this thread might be interested).

Let's face it: There are people who are going to support Romney because he's The White Man. There are those who are going to support Romney because they're too ignorant to realize that they're being totally lied to by the GOP. Then, there are those who are only pretending to be that ignorant, turning a blind eye to blatant deception from the Romney campaign. Geez...I know there are a lot of dumb Americans out there, but this is getting scary, folks.

Yep, they've been whipped into a foaming frenzy of racism, fear of gays and really fear of everything. It's a campaign based on hate and lies. I agree it's(they are) scary. Amazing because it's so easy to learn the facts for yourself. But they can't accept facts because they have been manipulated to only think in a certain frame. It's like seeing a horrible scary sci-fi story with huge groups of brain washed people...only it's true What's frightening is that these are the kind of conditions that lead to the rise of demagogues. they're being called out on it finally...here's more http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-pn-santorum-welfare-obama-20120828,0,1255653.story
