The latest Romney absurdity: Romney claims to be pro-life... ...unless it's for profit, apparently: Romney Invested in Medical-Waste Firm That Disposed of Aborted Fetuses, Government Documents Show http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/07/romney-bain-abortion-stericycle-sec
Hypocrite with proof
This is a BFD as Biden would say because mittens LIED again. and there's proof
Earlier this year, Mitt Romney nearly landed in a politically perilous controversy when the Huffington Post reported that in 1999 the GOP presidential candidate had been part of an investment group that invested $75 million in Stericycle, a medical-waste disposal firm that has been attacked by anti-abortion groups for disposing aborted fetuses collected from family planning clinics.
look at this during the primaries mittens said he had nothing to do with this investment...but there're government documents to prove that he did This guy wants to be president : :
But Bain Capital, the private equity firm Romney founded, tamped down the controversy. The company said Romney left the firm in February 1999 to run the troubled 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and likely had nothing to with the deal. The matter never became a campaign issue. But documents filed by Bain and Stericycle with the Securities and Exchange Commission?and obtained by Mother Jones?list Romney as an active participant in the investment. And this deal helped Stericycle, a company with a poor safety record, grow, while yielding tens of millions of dollars in profits for Romney and his partners. The documents?one of which was signed by Romney?also contradict the official account of Romney's exit from Bain.
LIAR EXTRAORDINAINE
"...severely conservative." Sad.

you think YOU OWN this thread???????????????????????????????? I barely post here...but.... : : :
I think these feelings are worth repeating ... I'm not middle of the road & not extreme right at the same time. However, as at least one or more presidential candidates have said, "I feel your pain".

I was puzzled by that previous post. That's why I didn't respond, despite the numerous question-marks. I'll add: Why does it bear repeating when we libs are pretty much focusing on the issues?

I'd like to hear the conservative response this photo. Is it accurate? Is it inaccurate?

A classic example of Republican hypocrisy from a couple of years ago: One of several Republican governors who criticized Obama's stimulus package...but gladly applied for its funds for their states: Bobby Jindal (Louisiana governor): He's apparently on the list as a possible veep for Willard Romney.

Romney, GOP Split on Whether Health Care Mandate Is a Tax "In an exchange with MSNBC's Chuck Todd on Monday, top Romney adviser Eric Fehrnstrom punctured the tax balloon. Here's the exchange": "TODD: It sounds like Gov. Romney though agrees that it's not a tax. So what you just said is that Gov. Romney agrees that it's not a tax. You guys called it a tax? FEHRNSTROM: The governor disagreed with the ruling of the court. He agreed with the dissent written by Justice [Antonin] Scalia, which very clearly stated that the mandate was not a tax. TODD: Okay...I think we're talking around each other. The governor does not believe the mandate is a tax? That is what you're saying? FEHRNSTROM: The governor believes that what we put in place in Massachusetts was a penalty and he disagrees with the court's ruling that the mandate was a tax. TODD: But he agrees with the president that it is not, and he believes that you should not call the tax penalty a tax, you should call it a penalty or a fee or a fine? FEHRNSTROM: That's correct." http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown/2012/07/romney-gop-split-on-whether-mandate-is-a-tax.html

I have to give credit where credit is due. FOX NEWS' Chris Wallace pressed Senate Majority Leader/First-class D-ck Mitch McConnell on what the GOP alternative would be to Obamacare. He never got a straight answer...and McConnell actually said that the uninsured are (wait for it) "not the issue." (Watch and enjoy)

aww come on now...you're a smart guy & you couldn't figure that one out?
Jenny says:Isn't that where the name calling is warranted? You think calling someone who has a different point of view ignorant or brainwashed is ok? Sad if you do......people immediately lose interest.
Audi says:And, with that said: If you don't like the exchanges here, it's best to let us be
It was in reference to all the name calling. And prolly why the other thread was closed.

It no longer baffles me that Republicans obstruct legislation -- even if was originally their idea. It's about winning. No matter the consequences. And it's about exploitng their political base that's, unfortunately, too intelluctually limited to realize that they're being used like a $2 hooker.

That's questionable ... you just don't acknowledge the issues that others bring up (when and if they are not to your liking) Why focus at all if you've "already won"?? Truth is you and a lot of people are worried ... if not ... why post here at all ... the truth is Obama & all his razzel dazzel just might not pull it off!!!

Because it's hard to resist when you've got someone like yourself who contributes hardly anything but links to biased, conservative Web sites. It seems like most of the conservatives on here can't think for themselves, so they simply regurgitate your generic Fox News/Hannity/Limbaugh/etc. angry, screeching talking points. But they at least take the time to reword it and make it seem like a coherent thought, whereas you simply post the stuff without comment. You don't ever engage in debates, you just shrug off valid counterpoints with generic 'you're entitled to your opinion, I'm entitled to mine' type statements. Which is fine, but that you now claim that the liberal contingent doesn't acknowledge your issues when you've habitually rerouted discussions on this board with your out-of-left field contributory stories, or rather the links to them, is incredibly annoying. Though not as annoying as the recent influx of posters purporting to be impartial observers, annoyed with audi's supposed reliance on name-calling over fact. Gee, apparently these folks have figured out a way to filter out rich's posts, or perhaps they've conveniently "overlooked" them.

good comment servicegamer To pile on: NONE of you wingers ever post anything about policy. And policy is what politics is supposed to be about. You all know nothing about health care, nothing about economic policies and not much about anything else. If you do post something it's so full of misinformation it boggles the mind. And no you're not entitled to your own facts. OPINIONS ARE NOT FACTS You all know so little and you still sprout off that you don't even know how totally stupid it makes you look And your bigotries are not 'issues' they are just bigotries. They may be all important to you but they are just the way that you have been manipulated to vote against your interests which you do because you know NOTHING about policy
