Cat Appreciation Thread

My cat is officially overweight. He was way over fed by the sitter.
-
Tried to change their dinner feeding pattern -they were pissed!

There are beautiful cats at the veterinary office where Rocketman is staying. The other day I went in crying and one cat was sitting on the counter and just climbed onto my shoulder and sat there. I had to go to the back and talk to the vet, and the cat went back with me on my shoulder! It comforted me the whole time. Cats really do absorb negative energies. Cats rule!

Our cats are lazing in the window in the sun.
-
My cat has put on weight, so now I feed one piece at a time so he has to walk between.
-
Got a nose touch from my cat who won't let you pick her up.
-
Our kid's cat has changed his sleeping spot to the foot of our bed at night. "Mo" has taken to pouncing on my feet & biting toes while I'm sleeping.
-
Both cats came to the phone to acknowledge their dad last night
-
"Mo" has once again changed his sleeping spot at night. Now he likes to wrap his body around my husband's head when he sleeps!
-
The black cat with the golden eyes is back again! Happily sunning itself in the back yard...
-
Can't wait to see my cats tomorrow - hope we can get home around dinnertime.

2 of our cats always seem to know the exact moment I'm relaxing with a book. They both curl up on my chest & I have to find a comfortable way of holding my book without disturbing them! Spoiled rotten cats!

2 of our cats woke me up this morning. They were on the bed & making those funny clicking sounds when they look out the window & see birds or squirrels. :

My male cat, Spike, was nose to nose at the window (back deck) the other day with a squirrel making that same funny sound!
-
My former cat used to do that too, but not my current kids.
-
Cats have been sticking close since I got back .
-
Three squirrels on the back deck--Spike on alert!

Monet hid under the bed after I left yesterday.

The boy down the street has a cat that has had many litters of kittens. We adopted one of them in 2011 (our male cat Spike) Well, she had another litter near our house and abandoned them. Two probably got eaten by who knows what, but one survived and the boy put in on our front porch (he's not exactly real smart if you know what I mean) The kitten can't be more than 10 days old. We put it in a plastic box on a towel and fed it with a dropper first water then warmed skim milk. My Mom got some milk for kittens in the pet aisle at Kroger. My son took a photo of the kitten and posted it on FB. One of his female friends might adopt it. We already have 3 cats and don't need another! Oh, and a sad note, the mother of the kitten got hit by a car and killed yesterday.
