I don't quite know if doing that is right. Isn't that page more for people who have dire diseases or something?,. I probably couldn't have sat for that long with my hip. He was only two blocks away!!!

The one good thing is that someone must have taped Elton's show & it is probably on youtube. Keep checking it.

Sometimes the words stay the same even though the format and technology changes. Movies - they still talk of filming - When there might not be any film on the set. Records and albums exist - Yet you might physically hold nothing. Radio. Broadcast TV etc... Still to this day use these words or phrases. At the same time - some ideas do Morph into new words. Many times I hear the terms - Someone recently asked me to tape A child dancing - I had no tape. but knew enough to use my phone To capture it,

I feel like this thread got hijacked from the original idea. I know the feeling of someone that you want to see (in my case it was Paul) Where he came to a place that was reachable for me - but - I could not go Due to losing my job at the time ... I was bummed out then. I was lucky enough to catch Paul on a tour that followed. (After finding a new job). I hope you will have more chances to see Elton or other favorites Little Laura.

Yeah, I thank-you Fool for understanding, but this was the 2nd time! UGH! But he seems to like it here--this little town has a rep of leaving celebs alone while they're here--(plus his partner David came from about 500 miles from here)so maybe he'll swing back sometime soon. (hope hope). As for Paul, I almost DIED of jealousy when HE performed not long ago only about 80 miles away! So close, yet soooooo far!
