what do you think of Dogs
-
My Yorkies boss our Aussie around & he's so gentle with them. They can nip at him & he won't do a thing back. Such a sweetie.
-
Lucy's sweaters are too big for Willy. AND...I never realized that boys sweaters can't be as long as girls sweaters. If they go back (or as long across the body) then the boy dog pees in the sweater. I guess I need one that just has a strap across the bottom. His fur is so thin that when we go to the park in this very cold & windy weather he gets cold.
-
While adding another item to donate to a local animal shelter thrift shop, I found an empty basket that was given to us (probably had wine or something in it at one time). I brought it up into the den & put our Yorkies' toys in it. Our Yorkies emptied their toys all over the floor & then put one toy back in the basket!

^ It is so nice when dogs get along.
They got along great. Tonight she has gone back home to her loving family. I miss her, but happy she is at home. Rocketman misses her.

Do dogs eat fish ?
-
I was trying to get out of the den & was backing out, as my male Yorkie gets mad if he knows I need to leave the room & he jumps up high & bites the back of my leg. This time, my female Yorkie grabbed my sock & was pulling at it.

So, I had one of the worst moments of my life today. I thought Willy was dying. We were all in the van & he upchucked all of his breakfast & then I turn around again & he is just laying there, breathing, but not moving at all. We stopped & opened the back doors & he did not move. At all. His eyes were open but nothing. We sped to the vet & in the 10 minutes it took us to get there he woke up. So we went into the vet to see what he thought & he says maybe Will had a epileptic seizure. oh man. So now I am just keeping watch to see if it will happen again. He seems ok but a little slower...maybe just tired from this all. sigh...I know I have a splitting headache! Anyone have any experiences like this?

Oh my gosh, so scary oobu! So glad Willy seems to be doing a bit better.
-
Yeah...after the vet we went to the park for a walk & he was just fine. But when we got home he laid down & was all tuckered out. He ate ALL of his dinner since he lost all of his breakfast! We'll start fresh tomorrow & hopefully he will be ok.
-
That is scary. I hope you can identify any problems if there are any ..... so you will have a slight clue or things to watch for ..... much luck for all of you .... be well Willy
-
It was really scary while we drove to the vet. Then right as we pull in he gets up. My goodness! I was calling him & poking him & nothing. Vet said to just watch & he should be fine esp since we are with him almost 24/7.
-
^^ so glad Willy is doing better. It had to scare you to death. Get well prayers for him.️
-
Oh my gosh, how scarey Oobu!! you must have been so upset!!! Sending prayers out to Willy and your family. I hope and pray he's going to be OK. Did he eat any poisonous plant, or anything?! Hopefully it was in his throw up and he's good to go now!
-
Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. He seems normal today...so far. Fingers crossed. He really did scare the crap outta me. (I wonder if that will get censored...lol) I never had a dog be totally unresponsive to me. He wouldn't even take a treat. He must have been passed out with his eyes open.

Thanks! Yeah, he was just running around in the yard...which he wouldn't do yesterday. I guess I'll just have to keep my eye on him. Hopefully it won't happen again.

^^ happy news.

^^ happy news.
Thanks. How is Rocketman doing these days? And Fool, your dog too? Is his leg better?
-
^^ Thanks for asking, Rocketman has been doing much better on his heart medication. If it wasn't for his diagnosis almost 3 or more months back he would be dead now. The only thing is this tumor is has on his rear upper leg area towards his tail area. It is hard, but he has to take antibiotics when every now and then it gets infected. He was down yesterday and I had to take a syringe and drain the tumor. This morning he was up walking again just fine. He really misses his girlfriend, the Catahoula Cur. She was so smart and when she was here he ran around and was so spunky! If I could afford my own home I would run out and get another female Catahoula Cur. But where I rent I can only have one dog. So Rocketman is doing very well, he just misses his girlfriend.️ Love to every ones pet! Give Willy a kiss 4 us!

Funny you should mention that girlfriend of his again. We went to see a female coonhound & all Willy did was bay at her. And she bayed right back. It was inside the store & everyone was coming in the back to see what all was going on. We took him there a couple times & he did the same thing. Not sure if that means don't you dare bring her home or what...lol.
