what do you think of Dogs

okay, this may be a weird question, but I'm going to ask it anyways... Do any of your dogs eat weird things.... like their waste.... One of my dogs did that, but we had fed her... really really weird.
Someone that I knew took their dog to the Vet. . (I never found out the answer ). it was said at that time to be a behavior or diet problem. (Sorry I cannot help you more with the question).

Mine is more likely to do it in the winter! ok...think about it....poopsicles! Really makes me get out there to pick it up! I've heard if they do that to put tobasco sauce on it & they won't like the flavor & will stop eating it. Mine eats most anything she comes across. She was a stray so maybe had to fend for herself at one time. She has swallowed a dead mouse whole, tried to swallow a frog, dead bird & she eats dirt. But just certain dirt. Very strange at times!

My dog is new to me at this time ..... So far he will eat anything he sees too (Except poop so far) .... I tried to do some weeding in the garden .... and he runs off with the weed, root, dandelion and everything that I moved .... a few times he has had is mouth full and runs out of my reach - because he knows I will try and take it out of his mouth ..... he is really something .... quite a handful .... I'd like to have him around for awhile - he has even gotten a hold of some nuts and bolts and a loose key ... in his mouth ... I really have to watch him close.

lol...yeah, young dogs are something else. AND it's all a game to them. Take it & run huh? I had a dog once eat a caramel in a clear wrapper. You know the ones? Small squares? It came out the other end still wrapped! not so much square anymore...

Our older dog will eat any kind of poop from other animals. Yuck! All dogs seem to enjoy "cat litter candy". We have a gate at the doorway of my hubby's workshop. The cats can jump over the bars or go thru a space in the bars, but my Yorkie can't do either as the top is too high for her & the space between the bars is too small!

Tornado Dog Crawls Home On Broken Legs Almost 3 Weeks After Deadly Alabama Storm The Huffington Post Dean Praetorius First Posted: 05/25/11 06:04 PM ET Updated: 05/26/11 11:09 AM ET This little guy makes the animals from Homeward Bound look like they achieved nothing. Almost three weeks after deadly tornadoes ripped through Alabama, this dog finally returned home. With two broken legs. Mason, as WAVY-TV 10 refers to the dog, was blown away during the storms. He had been hiding in a garage when the storm picked him up and blew him away on April 27th. Perhaps most astounding was the extent of Mason's injuries. From ABC7: "They've not been able to be in alignment so neither one of them have healed, so he had to crawl on two broken legs to get home," said veterinary Dr. Barbara Benhart. "This is probably the most dramatic we've seen as far as an injury in an animal that's survived this long," said Phil Doster, an animal-shelter worker. The owners had all but given up on finding the dog when they returned home on Monday, but there he was, sitting on the front porch, according to ABC7. The distance and lengths he traveled to get home remain a mystery.

Just one Herc. Her pic is back on page 3. I adopted her after someone had just thrown her away. She was a hunting dog & when they no longer hunt, they just let them go.

Call the animal authorities. Or the police. Or go & get the dog. Or go & give him food & water. Shelter, food & water are the necessities for anyone.

Thanks for sharing this... it just shows the love inside a dog... all he wants is to be home... heart breaking story with a happy ending.

Those dogs that work in the mountains are pretty cool the one that have the little barrel tied to them

Got my Yorkie a toy hedgehog at PetSmart. Used a coupon for a free toy. She likes to grab it by the nose & shake it!
