It's time I bought a dog but can't decide what colour to get
Speaking of color...I met a girl yesterday with a little maltese with long hair. She had dyed (prolly spray painted) the dog's hair multi-colors...but just a strand on top of the head & a strand on the tail. Really cute.
our wallpaper is red so might go for one that goes with red

Got our Yorkies 2 new "prairie dog" horns. They last for a few months & worth the price.

Right now ..... worn out from the walk ...... but I've got a feeling that he (my dog) enjoyed his walk today ....(after not walking for two days because of rain ) ..... he was pacing on those days and only went out for business ....
-
my dog (who is getting older & doesn't like the heat & humidity) was loving our walks the last couple days since it was cold. I had to wear a winter coat & she was just prancing all over at the park...just loving the weather. In the heat her tongue is hangin out & I need to bring her water bottle with. She always knows the half way point & stops for a drink!

I just saw a couple of you tubes that I needed to share... Dog Surprises Officer After Being Freed From A Fence

My little boy Yorkie chased a huge groundhog into our woodpile! He wanted to go into the woodpile after the groundhog, but I wouldn't let him.

My dog loves the water .... it was humid today ..... we went for a walk and then I set up the small plastic pool for him and hosed him off ...... I decided today would be a good day to give him a bath ..... I squirted the hose at him and he enjoyed that ..... he was surprised to get shampooed ..... then I spent a long time drying and brushing him ..... he looks like he was taken to a place that does that ......
It was quite a job to do ..... but worth it

For my dog's sake I can't wait for most people to use up their firecrackers that keep going and going and going ..... Yesterday (The 4th of July) I walked my dog on the early side ...... since I had the day off. Later in the evening ..... trying to get my dog's confidence that he could walk after hearing a few popping firecrackers .... before sunset ..... I figured I would take him for a casual walk .... and enjoy the nice weather .... take our time ..... because we did our walk early and this was just going to be a no hurry .... and if you want to stop and sniff ..... go ahead walk ...... we got two houses away ...... and someone launched a major boomer ..... my dog got as low to the ground as he could and had a goal of getting back home immediately ..... I didn't try and pull him toward the walk at all .... it was off ...... he couldn't get home quick enough ....... he made it .... and at the end of the night .... did not want to do his last pee of the night .... cringed and just wanted to go back in the house ...... I try to keep that fine line balance of not wanting to give him attention in being that way (so he continues and becomes that way always) .... but I do feel bad for him ...... I try to pat him a few times and say you will be okay or something ..... it is a long popping season of fireworks ...... people buy thousands and thousands of those things and pop pop pop pop pop ...... oh well .....

I am scared of them every since someone played a cruel joke on me with them as a kid.

You'd never be scared of my hound dog.
She is the BEST user friendly dog at the park for little kids! Kids come up to her (she's 65#) & pet her & she just stands there.

oh poor baby. Mine has been like that for awhile. So yesterday we turned on the AC so we didn't have to have the windows open. That way she couldn't hear much. Then today I just went out for the mail & the neighbors must have found a BUNCH of leftover fireworks. Just as we got out to the street KABOOM! I look at Lucy...nothing! She must really be getting deaf or just doesn't care anymore.
But like your dog...she was really afraid. She'd try to get under the coffee table or behind the TV to hide. Now...not so much. Funny though...she can still hear the cookie jar in the kitchen though.

DH is talking about getting another Yorkie. He said it's "not set in stone" but he's talking about getting a white female puppy
