What's the best cinnamon for baking?
-
I like the cinnamon that I get in the Indian grocery stores to use on fruit, yoghurt, cinnamon toast, but can't taste it well in baked goods. Frontier brand that I buy at Whole Foods has been the best for baked goods I've ever used. Any one else have a brand you like for baking?

Doris, I see from your signature, we have much in common. Pet loves Mc/Wings/Clapton, too. Beatles' fan since 5th grade, 3rd Sun. night on Ed Sullivan.

I got my cinnamon from a mid eastern or international market. Often they sell spices in bulk. It works great in baking. Yea we do have in common. I have watch little parakeets and a sparrow who would sing along with clapton when he came on. Him and Jeff Lynne. love doris

Cassia is excellent in baked dishes, especially when used with rosewater.
