The description said it was the Olympics ( on the menu guide). Let me take a look. All I saw was commercial after commercial ... then after all that waiting... they showed one person doing their turn .. and then more commercials ... I tried again ...one more person in the competition and more commercials and they lost me.
The Olympics tried to keep interrupting the commercials.

That’s why they invented the DVR!

Exactly. (I agree).
In this case, I was just surfing and being spontaneous.
I can put up with some commercials if there is a show in there somewhere. In the example that I gave, they were going to drag out the competition to last as long as possible and load up so many commercials that the viewer forgets what they are watching. DVR's are great for seeing things without all the disconnect in there. They lost me as a viewer by overdoing it.

I never watch anything live anymore! I’m usually at least 15 or 20 minutes behind so I can zip through the commercials. (I DVR everything I know I want to watch)
-
I watched Breaking Bad while out of work the first time. It was really good, not the subject matter but the writing was superb. The casting was perfect, too. Thanks for the tip, Sir Paul!

I know what you mean, Nancy. I usually watch Netflx.

I’ve been watching the Olympics. Love the figure skating!

I don't watch most to all shows at their scheduled times. I DVR all the time. Some for another day. I also delay so I can fast forward through commercials. Some shows I catch up to after starting out behind. It is the best option that works out great for me.

I watched on Netflix and caught up to the last episodes of the final season. - It had a split in the final season ... I didn't plan it, it just happened. It was cool to get caught up in the talk about what may or may not happen.
One would never guess the people who have watched Breaking Bad. I have talked to teachers, Church goers and someone who would walk out on movies because of content ... and they have watched and liked the show. Enjoy

* up front there are exceptions to the list...
I see a huge list of on demand/ Netflix type of menu:
I don't want to watch police, detective, special agency shows. No lawyer shows. No hospital or doctor type of shows. No sit com shows that have laugh tracks.
There are so many varieties of the same subjects. By eliminating many of these ... my options got greatly smaller. Once in awhile there are some good shows in those elimination categories...
Series shows would be a bonus.
( I also have to eliminate what I have watched and only I would know the full list)...
The list got cut by more than half, maybe 3/4.
Sometimes I surf and watch bits and pieces of whatever catches my attention that day...
Not always easy to find something out there.

WOW! I am totally opposite of you! There are so many shows I want to watch, it’s a good thing I’m retired now and can keep up! What would you like to watch? Do you have any premium channels like HBO or Starz? Do you like Science Fiction?
You have Netflix (I don’t) and you can’t find anything to watch?!

One of my poet friends said she watched Breaking Bad three times!!
By far the best comedy/drama show i've watched in a long time--EPISODES! It's quirky/dark humor. The writing is superb. If you liked FRIENDS you might like it. It's about writers from England with a hit TV show who come to LA to make the American version and everything is different and changes. Character development is above average. It's on Netflix. It could be classified as cerebral (where plot is secondary to dialogue). One review said it wasn't far off from life on the set and lifestyle of actors/writers/support staff.

Is anyone else watching Suits? I like Suits. Watching it on Amazon Prime.

Thanks for the list, I have seen similar lists.
10 of those I have seen all the seasons (these were enjoyable and I did not list them in my post).
I eliminated 20 just by my taste or interest (which I would explain if this was my job).
6 of the shows I watched and didn't return to them. I may give those another look. Some I just didn't return to and don't know why not.
I put question marks near some...
And saw 3 that I want to check out if they are available (Netflix does rotate and has many that don't show up on the display that do show up with a search... I will try that)...
Thanks for the attempt ... I may either continue a few of the dropped shows
Or pick one of the new discoveries or attempt the question marks.
What I meant in my recent post is that I can eliminate half or more of a list by my own filter of no this and no that.
That random post has got me thinking of a few options.

I have watched a few Episodes recently - previous to your post and will likely continue it again soon.
Thanks.

You didn’t answer my questions in my other post as to whether you like Science Fiction and if you have any premium channels.

Sure. It gets even better as the relationships develop. And it's funny. Hope you get lots of laughs out of it, too.

I watched it for a week and stopped for a week. It's intense. Now I'm back watching it. Lots of controlling characters in it. Hope you like it.
