I can't think of anything right now. Oobu24 hasn't been back in a while and it seems like it's just you & me on this thread anyway!

Ok. What did Julia Baird share about on Friday? Would love to hear about that talk. Also, was she promoting Beatles' Week at the Sunday talk? She was saying next year is going to be really good when I bought her book. Also said AROTR is larger than Beatles' Week, which surprised me (if I heard her correctly).

Just more John songs I think. I can't remember now if she talked about Beatles Week. Yes, 2017 is the 60th Anniversary of The Cavern and the 50th Anniversary of Sgt. Pepper so Beatle Week will be insane! When I see her there this August I will ask her what the special thing is that's happening. She started to tell me at AROTR 2016, but our conversation got interrupted. Made reservations at the Sheraton for AROTR 2017. Six nights.

I assume that is the anchor hotel. What is the rate? Or email me if you don't want to say.

The Sheraton Louisville Riverside is the host hotel and is $149/night. It is near the festival. The Clarion is a couple miles away, but they have shuttle buses. It is $99/night. The only way you can get these rates is to get 5-day tickets now and pay $99 down on the hotel of your choice. Rates go up July 1st.

In the box is the guy who John beat up on June 18, 1963 and why.

Someone said he was gay?

Not exactly. He asked John "How was the honeymoon?" (This was shortly after John & Brian had gone on holiday together) Who was this guy? I think Pete Shotten or Ivan Vaughan pulled John off of him, or John would have beat him to death. Funny thing is, the guy himself was gay and the Beatles had a great "working relationship" with him.

Exactly. He insinuated that John was gay by that comment. I don't remember who said it, though.

In the box, which singer/songwriter said this at one of his recording sessions while working on a three part harmony: ""OK, I think I might have it now," he announces. "I get something in me head, you know, and all the walls of Rome couldn't stop me!"

Oh dear...needing more clues?!
