The big box

no. has a feminine name.
-
Famous Groupies? Nothing else is remotely feminine except Girlfriend.
-
You got it! Girlfriend. Your turn.

I only have that album in vinyl so haven't listened to it in years and I don't remember any of that John & Yoko stuff you were talking about in that song. All the Stanley sisters except Julia had nicknames. In the box are 2 of "Mimi's" (Mary's) sisters, Elizabeth, Anne or Harriet. What were their nicknames?
-
P.S. Here's the lyrics and he mentions "ocean" but not "Ocean Child" which is what Yoko means. http://www.metrolyrics.com/girlfriend-lyrics-paul-mccartney.html I really don't think this song is making fun of John & Yoko at all. Where did you read that? http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=girlfriend+paul+mccartney&view=detail&mid=52E50E4094D3B8B45FEB52E50E4094D3B8B45FEB&FORM=VIRE

It's subtle. Yoko's name means "Ocean Child." They have a phrase using ocean at the end, along with other nature phrases. Also, Linda shrieks "yeah" in the chorus and doesn't sound like herself. Thirdly, it has an oriental feel to it.

Sorry, agree to disagree. Will never believe this unless I heard it directly from Paul.

See my post on bottom of previous page. We both posted at exactly same time (12:31 pm)

As I said before when I put this in the box, I don't remember where I read it, but as Paul and Linda were a brilliant song writing team, I totally believe it is possible. Overt vs. covert.

No idea.

I'll give you the easy one: Harriet was "Harrie." The other 2 are harder.
-
Lizzie or Annie?
-
That makes too much sense.

Yeah, I don't think that's right, either. I vaguely remember they were odd nicknames.
-
I think we'll need some hints.
-
Lizabet, Bet, Betty, Bertha, Bess, Beth, Liza, Li Li, Lilly, Lisa, Liddy, Libby ... That's all I could think of for now.

No one else was guessing so I looked it up. ð?? Mater and Nanny

Yeah, that's right. I was going to give you some good clues. Like the one name is mentioned in Paul's song Jet! Your turn.
-
Yeah, those would have been good clues In the box, according to mental health experts, why is it not a good idea to be a nice-a-holic?
