NEW TECHNOLOGY

I keep watching these stories of planes crashing into the water, sometimes thousands of yards/meters of water, and then we send deep sea diving equipment to hopefully recover the (black box) flight recorder information. Why are these information recorders not designed to be ejected from the plane upon impact, with a few bright green and orange flotation balloons attached to them?
Another great idea! That sure would have been a great idea with that Maylaysian plane they can't find! Maybe they could use an ejection device similar to those military ones that eject the pilots of military jets. That Genius Show with Hawking was great, BTW thanks!
Yes...It was a great series!!! But, with a few unanswered questions left to answer. The inventor of the wheel...to archimedes...to da vinci...and galileo...and newton... and einstein...de grasse... hawking and everyone inbetween...to who's next???

"Lots of great ideas, on an antiquated system." ~ L2T They just now got the retrieved recorders from the bottom of the ocean of the plane that went down in May, restored and working. Yes, we do need an upgrade! Hope someone in Aviation reads this and pm's me. I'm refining and broadening the general concept...as well.
Hope they do!! It would give so much peace of mind to families. I see they have a very flexible solar panel now... Please keep us informed, it's one of those ideas that is overdue!!

Tesla autopilot in its Beta stage, warns drivers that they still need to be alert with hands on the wheel. Unfortunately, certain drivers do not heed the warning, and have even posted themselves listening to a movie, while videoing themselves during a near miss crash... previous to a fatal crash. http://jalopnik.com/man-killed-in-self-driving-tesla-was-watching-harry-pot-1782935648 Very sad... And a warning to others. Technology is good when you follow the directions.

He was a former Navy Seal. Machines break down and malfunction. Putting a plane on autopilot in the wide open spaces of the sky is a whole lot different than a ground based vehicle where the environment is constantly and instantaneously changing in a number of varied ways.

I read that he was a Navy Seal, and that makes it more tragic, he should have realised the inherent problems with the Beta version, as I'm sure he was quite brilliant! Sad

I heard just a little bit about that the other day.

Stephen Hawking has announced that there is now a pill that will allow us to access 100% of the brain. http://forbes-science.com/special-reports/report.php Before anyone takes that pill...they better take one that allows us to access 101% of the heart.

. Did you see the movie Lucy? Would like to try that pill, even for a day...organize and set up the rest of my life ...write it all down... it sounds so interesting, going to look it up!

I LOVE the movie "Lucy!" Scarlett Johansson is drop dead gorgeous in that film! I'd like to try that pill too, then its back to the film "Scanners" where we'll all try to blow each other's brains with our minds!

I'm trying to find info on that pill, not having good luck! That Lucy movie was pretty awesome...just bought the DVD! Just saw this about Elon Musk colonizing Mars, those sci fi books I read as a kid, are coming to life... Way Cool http://www.geekwire.com/2016/spacex-elon-musk-colonize-mars/

New technology that has surpassed the decency of human beings. It's not very funny to me. Compassion is lacking when it comes to new technology. There's another 1 or 2 shows on tonight, I believe! That recorder ejection device could be built respecting all situational variables. We Have the technology!!!
There you go, patent it! Will watch them this weekend, I'm working a lot now! Great show!
Thanks for witnessing and confirming my idea on an international web board...Time dated and everything!
It is apparent that this technology should be applied to trains now after the recent crash in New Jersey where the front black box is buried in rubble and possibly damaged. The rear box on the train wasn't even working.

Had an idea recently to increase password security. As everyone knows, they will run endless combination possibilities on computers in order to find a password and it takes time. (It's ABOUT time) If we had a 2 or 3 password system, with even shorter passwords it would be 1,000 times better. With a more than one password system, the time delay between entering the passwords would be the key. If the second password is not entered fast enough, the system could lock and freeze and notify the rightful user. It would allow people the chance to change their passwords. The system could be designed to hold 2nd and 3rd passwords in separate data bases, which are only accessed as a timely password entering process is engaged, Otherwise, the system will lock and freeze, and notify the user. I plan on refining this idea as soon as I have more time this autumn. It reminded me of the song... "3 Lock Box"

Remote Accessing Computers without Permission: Whatever Entity that is remotely hacking into my new internet device right now really should quit before they lose their jobs. This Entity keeps turning on and off my wifi and playing with my texting letters making them appear and disappear, just like they did with my hacked iPhone. I won't sit by and be quiet about my Expensive devices being hacked this time. I have had enough!
