I couldn't believe it when I found out that right after WWII, England sent literally thousands of poor English children (some were orphans) to Australia, where they were mostly very badly treated...what in the world???!!!! Why did the British do that?? Emily Watson stars in a new movie about the disgrace, playing a real life social worker who reunited a lot of families, and brought the horrendous practice into awareness that this had transpired.
