If I start making perfect sense, you'll know I've had too much, and it's time to shut me off. By the way,who are bouncers here, the mods? Frozen beer? In a pub? I remember when I was teenager down the pub drinking Shandy's and my Uncle saying "That's a sissy drink, have one of these!" (and giving me a Guiness warm). Man, I remember it being terrible at the time. I likem cold now. Never had a frozen beer. Is it in one of those push up tubes? I am more partial to mixed drinks, especially with rum, more than beer. Podgie (Hey, shouldn't there be a virtual dart board here somewhere?) Monkey

I notice in England, when I am at my Aunt or Cousins, when they ask if you want Lemonade you get 7up (or sprite)...a fizzy lemon soda. Not sure if that is the same everywhere in England, or just the family. Here in the states, Lemonade, is Lemon with water (and sugar or sweetner). Podgie (the uncola) Monkey

Podgie deserves a lifetime "free drinks" pass to the pub after those designs. My thoughts are whatever designs don't make it onto the t-shirts, we should do up coasters. All not-for-profit, of course, just for fun and for our homes.

It's great that you have close relatives in England. My family has been in America for over a century or more. I did some research and found out that I was from a line of accomplished commoners. Our name is in the original (Domes Day Book) tax ledger of William The Conqueror. My family's been paying taxes for a...long...time!

I'm first generation in this country, born in Boston. My Mother is English (if you were born there you are forever an English Subject), although she became an American Citizen back in the 1950s. I amazed Pete Best a few years ago when I talked to him. He was actually living in India, and his family moved to Liverpool. He immigrated to England from India on a ship called the SS Georgic. When around the same time, my parents immigrated from England to the US, on guess what...The SS Georgic, yup, same boat. Amazing because it was scrapped right afterwards (around 1955).
