Did someone ask if it was Mashed Potato Time? Because it is!
Clear the dance floor, because here we go! -
Wow, so does this mean this thread really is about mashed potato? I'm amazed! I don't really like mash that much. Not without plenty of gravy anyway.

There's some great vegetarian gravy out there. It comes powdered, but when you add water and heat it up on the stove...yum! Oh, and yes. We've taken over this thread.

I guess maybe a Knish is an east coast thing? They are huge around here.....and very tasty!
-
jewish potato?
-
ohoh...time travel! Is that a jewish type potato? I've heard of them but never had one.
-
They have different type of Knish't but the best are the deep fried kind. I am not sure if they are Jewish or not.
-
I would love a knish with sour cream , onions and garlic mixed in love doris
-
I never had a dumpling Knish....always potatoes.
-
Yep, I just looked it up. I go to a place for pastrami but they recently burned down ...but when they are back I will look for this. "Knish is an eastern-European Jewish or Yiddish snack food. It is a dumpling covered with a dough shell that is either baked or fried. In the most traditional version, the dumpling is made entirely of mashed potato. "
