Ah sh*t! You have to be kidding me! Not Mary Tyler Moore! I always loved her! Moore will always rank as one of the top 5 all-time greatest comediennes ever besides Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, Cloris Leachman and Joan Rivers! R.I.P. Mary Tyler Moore, you will be missed.

Although I'm not exactly clear on this, I'm guessing her death was due to complications related to diabetes (based on the little info I'm getting from a news channel I'm currently listening to)

God Bless Mary!!! She made a lot of people laugh and happy throughout her career!

Aww...30 minutes ago they said people were called to the hospital to say their goodbyes. Like she was still alive.

Mary Tyler Moore (December 29, 1936 - January 25, 2017) was an American actress, known for her roles in the television sitcoms The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970-1977), in which she starred as Mary Richards, a thirty-something single woman who worked as a local news producer in Minneapolis; and The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961-1966), in which she played Laura Petrie, a former dancer turned Westchester homemaker, wife and mother.[1][2][3][4] Her notable film work includes 1967's Thoroughly Modern Millie and 1980's Ordinary People, in which she played a role that was very different from the television characters she had portrayed, and for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress.[5][6][7] Moore was active in charity work and various political causes, particularly the issues of animal rights and diabetes mellitus type 1. She was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes early in the run of The Mary Tyler Moore Show.[8] She also suffered from alcoholism, which she wrote about in her first of two memoirs. In May 2011, Moore underwent elective brain surgery to remove a benign meningioma.[9] She died from cardiopulmonary arrest because of pneumonia at the age of 80 on January 25, 2017.[10]

Aw.... crud. I enjoyed her on television. reruns and syndication - so many times. Rest in peace Mary Tyler Moore. Peace and comfort to her family and friends.

They just showed a 2 second clip on an episode & it made me laugh. Do you remember an episode where Mary & everyone were at a funeral for a clown? She kept cracking up. It was so funny. I wish you could find specific episodes like that one.
