RIP...for all that have passed

I just saw this on Facebook. Always liked Burt Reynolds. He filmed Smokey and the Bandit in Atlanta in 1976/1977 and my boyfriend and I drove down to Lakewood Fairgrounds where they filmed part of it, and we saw the place where he jumped the Trans Am over the river where the bridge was out. I think I still have his Cosmopolitan centerfold! Lol!

Just read that playwright Neil Simon died at age 91.
Everything I know about growing up in Brooklyn/Queens before the war is from Neil Simon and Woody Allen.

Marty Balin from Jefferson Airplane dead at 76
Now, I know why I've had The Jefferson Airplane and Starship on my mind for the last week. Thanks, for all the great music, Marty!!

I was hoping this was “fake news” but it seems to be true that Beatles’ recording engineer Geoff Emerick died of a heart attack Oct. 2nd (Tues) I just met him last May at AROTR.

A very tired and/or stoned Paul with Geoff Emerick circa 1968.

Stan Lee (Marvel Comics co-founder and creator of Spiderman and many more) passes onward at 95.

Winther and Frost already had collaborated on a pair of 1975 "salute" specials, about the Guinness Book of World Records and The Beatles, when the British television personality contacted the director, asking if he would help with an interview session that Frost had set up with the disgraced former president.

Bernardo Bertolucci died November 26. This was the hardest celebrity death for me in a long time. I don't think he will ever be fully appreciated.
William Goldman died a week earlier. Inconceivable.
Ken Berry and Katherine MacGregor are also gone. Some of you older TV fans should remember them.

I just heard about Ken Berry this morning.

" I Want A Kinder Gentler Nation" ~ George 41
Amen!!
My Dad and George were born less than a year apart and were in the Navy at the same time. Dad was a Radar Tech on a 150ft. Radar ship. I am sure that George probably flew across the screen at some point in time of one of the radar units that my dad had worked on. When George 43 was campaigning at the turn of the century, my oldest daughter was President of the local Police Wives Auxillary and was invited to a rally. My oldest 3 Grandkids shook hands with him.

Daryl Frank Dragon (August 27, 1942 – January 2, 2019) was an American musician and songwriter, known as Captain from the pop musical duo Captain & Tennille with his then wife, Toni Tennille.
I have this original vinyl album of theirs and set it up in front of my computer monitor. He also played keyboard for The Beach Boys in times past.

There were 2 other men who died the same day as Daryl Dragon and they were also 76! Gene Okerlund and Bob Einstein.

Heard that as well. Interesting synchronicity with things coming in 3's as well. We thank them for their good works.

Sigh... one of the truly great personalities. She was also very proud of the fact that she had a small amount of African-American heritage and was a huge friend of the LGBTQ community. Hail and farewell.
