Carroll Spinney. Such a huge part of my childhood is now gone. He brought Oscar The Grouch and Big Bird to life for generations of kids.
I got to meet him back in 2017. Such a sweet, kind man, you could even see the kindness in his eyes.
Didn't realize he was on the Band on the album. Heard that working on Sesame Street was a dream job. May he rest in Peace.
What do you mean he was on the Band On The Run album? He wasn't on the cover, nor did he play on it.

Larry Tesler, who invented and named the âcut, copy and pasteâ commands on computers, an indispensable part of the everyday operation of digital devices, died Feb. 16 at his home in Portola Valley, Calif. He was 74.
I cut & pasted that paragraph.

Must have been half asleep on that first bit I think maybe I was reading something else? Sorry if I upset you.
Knew someone who worked at Sesame Street, that was a dream job. Sad for his loss, heard he was so kind from my friend. Big Bird was the first character I asked him about.

So sad  about Kenny.  Apparently he has had issues since last May.  Just read that when he was set to record Islands in the Stream (given to him by the Bee Gees) he thought of Dolly Parton, and she just happened to be downstairs at the time. Just one of lifes syncronicities. Loved that song and loved his voice. Will miss him...

Didn't know exactly where to put this but since so many of these artists have passed, I figured it should go here.
