So sad to hear... Two Tickets to Paradise is one of my fave songs, as well as the others. When are we getting a cure?! Seriously, there should be one by now!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I will vote for absolutely any candidate who makes finding a cure for cancer a top priority. I'm one of those independent voters, so I can vote for any party. They all want my vote every two years. Maybe they should listen.
Hi Hailey so sad isn't it . It's one of those cases where they buy the cure and bury it. I never used to believe things like that, or wondered if all those stories were true. Events over the past 2 1/2 years have sadly opened my eyes on how far and how cruel some people can be when it comes to money. Trying to think up the equal and opposite reaction to cancel out the bad, and slingshot it into a better humanity. Thinking monetary prizes for the best solutions... we need a cure STAT!!! Actually my nurse friend is saying CBD oil has had some great miraculous results.

I'm not a big fan of conspiracy theories, and cancer is actually a whole bunch of different diseases. It kind of makes sense that there is no single cure for all cancers. But what makes absolutely no sense is that there is no cure for any type of cancer. If they just start with one and work their way up to the others, I'd be happy.

For many years I've attended lectures from nutritionists, nurses, healers, had a German Doctor at one point who introduced me to alternative treatments, that were medically accepted in her country, yet not in this country. Due to the laws in this country she had to advise me that the treatments were not accepted in the US and voluntary in my part.(Not relating to cancer specifically, just medicine) The nutritionists all were in constant battles and at one point, all alternative medicine was in danger of being outlawed. Another friend was in a prayer group which had a double blind of the group. The study showed the power of prayer works, unknown mechanism for some. All of these people, who had experiences of spontaneous cures for cancer, and other illnesses, continually ran up against resistance against alernative treatments. Spontaneous cancer cures just left their doctors scratching their heads. Medicine is big money. Like many other things that are good for mankind, it has been monetized and not for the betterment of the people. I'm sure there are many Chinese medicines that have worked for 100's of years that also would apply to cures that are not available or quantified in this wonderful country.

American healthcare is all about profit. Helping people for the sake of helping them is considered a sinful communist conspiracy in the United States. Not because Americans want to be sick, but because they're gullible enough to believe what the companies who profit the most tell them.
There probably used to be a plant that could cure cancer, but we cut it down to build a Walmart.
I don't like traditional Chinese medicine. I'm sure some of it works wonders, but too much of it is just ridiculous. Eating a deer's penis will not give you an erection. I'm on the fence about acupuncture. Some people swear by it, but it did nothing for me, and the electric kind where the needles are plugged in just feels wrong.
But the best cough syrup I have ever had in my life is an old Chinese recipe that will never be available in the United States because it has opium in it. Less than half a bottle and even the most persistent cough is gone. It's a small amount of opium, but anything is too much for American companies to allow.

Woah...Didn't know about the poor deers... antlers too... pretty cruel
Actually there is an opiod cough medicine in the US. I had a bottle after the Surgeon accidentally paralyzed half of my vocal chord/throat. Was choking on my own saliva while sleeping. That stuff worked really really good and helped me sleep, till my other vocal cord learned to compensate and I slept like a baby. And definitely better than Robitussen!

Traditional Chinese medicine uses a lot of herbs and roots that, when used properly, can probably cure a lot of ailments. Nature provides most of what we need. But they also chop up a lot of animal parts for superstition and old folk tales. No one eats shark fin soup for the taste. The fin has no taste whatsoever.

¡Ginger Baker Please! So very sad to hear of The beloved Ginger's passing. Cream and Jimi Hendrix Experience, were probably my two most fav groups growing up. Cream's reunion in 2005 was probably the event, that I would go back in time to see, if we had time machines. What a Force of Life was he...

I've read that Clapton is going to do something as a remembrance for Ginger. Did anyone do anything for Jack Bruce?
