Death at 87 is much more common & understandable than anyone much younger.
Of course. I just meant three in a row who happened to each be 87.
Yep, I understood that.
You know who I would drop dead, Larry King's wife, Shawn Southwick.
Before marrying King, she use to host a gossip show on the USA cable titled "Hollywood Gossip" and she ripped GEORGE HARRISON for screwing investors out of moneys for Handmade Films!
The truth was Denis O'Brien screwed investors and George! George was sold the company and later sued Denis in Santa Monica, CA court for $25 million!

I read she had climbed up somewhere to look at the moon. Didn't know it was a roof!

Christopher Plummer, died Feb. 5th at age 91:

News of Cloris Leachman, Cicely Tyson and Hal Holbrook dying one after the other was a body blow. I know they all had incredibly long, full lives, but ... sigh. I wasn't as attached to Christopher Plumber, but he was great in Knives Out a couple years ago.

Bruce...Christopher Plumber was also great in "The Last Full Measure" playing the Father of the Air Force Medic who ultimately died saving many Army soldiers in one of the bloodiest battles in the Vietnam War. Because of political issues in Congress, his son never received the Congressional Medal of Honor. The boy's father (played by Christopher Plummer) kept on fighting until his son got the Medal of Honor. Sebastian Stan plays the Pentagon staffer who also made this awful denial eventually "happen". Also stars William Hurt, Ed Harris and Samuel Jackson. Loved this movie but it never got much acclaim because it was released in 2020 in the middle of this Pandemic. Peter Fonda was also great in this movie and it was his last Film role. Not sure, but "The Last Full Measure" might have been one of Mr. Plummer's last movie roles too.
I saw and bought the DVD at Walmart for only $5.00.

So very sad to hear about Chick Corea, he was such an amazing musician.
A friend and I were just bumming out how many people are dying these days. It’s overwhelmingly sad.

‘O-o-h Child’ Singer James Burke, of the Five Stairsteps, Dies at 70
Hugh McCraken played guitar on their one hit wonder.
Fellow artists who championed the Five Stairsteps ranged from Curtis Mayfield, who signed the group to his label in the 1960s, to George Harrison, who was taken by some cover songs that hit close to home (“Dear Prudence” appeared as the flip side of “O-o-h Child,” and they recorded “My Sweet Lord” the following year) and signed them to his Dark Horse label for a 1976 release, “2nd Resurrection.”

I'm not sure many of these deaths were from covid. It's just that many of the people we knew & loved are or were getting up there in age.

If this song was from 1970 he was only 19 when it was out.
