RIP...for all that have passed

You guys won't know him, but a FB friend of mine named Robert Carsten, who I met on the 2018 Flower Power cruise, died on Aug. 27th of Covid. He was not vaccinated. He played lead guitar for Strange Days, a Doors tribute band. I'm also friends with Jason Tosta who plays Jim Morrison. Robert was probably in his mid-50s. So sad!

Mid 50's isn't very old so it must have been such a shock to everyone who knew him? I note with sad irony that Robert's final post on FB (just 4 days before he passed) was a RIP to Charlie Watts.

It WAS a shock to everyone! I also noted his last FB post was a RIP to Charlie Watts! Very sad irony.
He must have gone downhill suddenly just like another FB friend I had who WAS vaccinated - she fell ill and was gone in less than a week!

It's with immense sadness that I announce the passing of my dear friend Lizzie Bravo. One of the original Apple Scruffs and the backing vocals for Across the Universe.
Rest in Peace, Lizzie!

^ OMG, I am friends on FB with Lizzie! What happened? Was it Covid?
ETA: Just saw this on FB:
It's with immense sadness that I announce the passing of my dear friend Lizzie Bravo . One of the original Apple Scruffs and the backing vocals for Across the Universe.
Godspeed dear friend.UPDATE - Lizzie passed at home where she was recovering from a heart procedure.
Lizzie JUST posted 1 day ago about Paul playing piano with Dave Grohl's daughter.
Probably nobody here but me ever met her (in 2013 on a Beatles cruise in 2013) but Billy J Kramer's wife Roni died of a heart attack I believe on Sunday. She was at the most 60 years old. Billy just turned 78 Aug. 19th.

I was just gonna post about Lizzie. So sad. RIP.

Damn, I just found this out today on FB:
It has been a very bad week with so many sad stories:
From Beatles scholar Al Sussman
A sad postscript to the passing of Lizzie Bravo: Amy McGrath Hughes reports that Gayleen Pease, Lizzie’s friend who also sang background on the recording of “Across The Universe,” passed away this summer from pancreatic cancer, according to a piece that ran in Best Classic Bands. So they’re both gone..(Lizzie was 70 and Gayleen was 71)

And I heard he was innoculated.

It looks like Colin Powell at 84 had Cancer and Parkinson's... which contributed to a weak immune system allowing Covid to take over. Covid usually gets the attention. What ever way you look at it;
R.I.P. Colin Powell
