What happened to Thanksgiving? Today SiriusXM commenced with Christmas music on several of their channels. On the way home from an early evening errand, we saw a house completely decorated and lit up for Christmas. I suppose it's that time again... ![](http://forums.snapstream.com/vb/images/smilies/santa_smiley.gif[/img] [img]http://forums.snapstream.com/vb/images/smilies/santa_smiley.gif"/>

My house may look like that if there is somewhat nice weather or tolerable to be out there ..... I need to go on the roof ..... we have had 20 and 30 degrees ... frost and snow .... freezing rain ..... so if it gets in the 40's and maybe 50's .... my house may have the lights on it .... I may even have to turn them on at night to see if it all turned out okay ..... but then they won't be turned on until the Thanksgiving time ..... after but likely during that weekend ..... (if I get them up okay) I too have seen some already turn them on and keep them on .... 'Tis the season ...... and I have heard some Christmas songs being played already too ......

^ As our local weatherman indicates that temperatures will be in the 60s this weekend, I, too, will be decorating and will light up to check that all is well. After that, I will not light up again until the evening of Thanksgiving. As much as I LOVE the thought of your wonderful winter weather, I don't believe that I would enjoy decorating in those harsh conditions. Hopefully this weekend will be a favorable one for your decorating pleasure - stay safe!

I was thinking about that at work today! I was trying to imagine what a turkey stuffed with matzah balls would taste like? It actually sounds good!

We start decorating the day after Thanksgiving mostly due to never knowing when the ground is going to freeze. As much work as it is, we do enjoy cooking for Thanksgiving & start preparing the night before. I even decorate our home outdoors & indoors for Thanksgiving.

The Beatles - Complete Christmas Records - 1963 to 1969 - 45 RPM - Flexi-Disc
all 43 minutes & 36 seconds ... the truth - I've only heard bits & pieces of the whole (until now) -
Due to all the snow storms, the only Christmas decoration to come down is the huge wretah on our home.
