Got a gift for my mom today

I've just "heard" what all of my dearest friends have been saying for years...leaving behind all the misery at my job is not giving in, but instead is just loving myself enough to find a job where people appreciate me and love me. That is really good news!!
EXACTLY, it is doing what is best for you! I did that years ago and haven't looked back. I have no regrets for just up and leaving a job I was miserable in and wasn't appreciated at all and treated like crap. I even changed careers and started doing something I had never done before, you're never too old to have/start a new career. I wish you lots of luck and happiness!

Thanks Paulfan11...it took meeting the new employee and having such a great, easy share the workload type fun days, to really realize that's how it should be! I no longer am going to accept poor treatment, that I don't deserve. I'll try to figure out where to go. It's good to hear how much happier you are now... thanks for the luck and happiness!! I could really use it Oh Oobu, sorry to hear...

Met a guy that flips houses. Going to look into that. He said bring my beach chair! Also got tickets to ELO!!! So I'm going to cross the pond again, this has been the longest I've gone, I think! Yay! Same seats that I got for Paul's show, so I'm pretty happy about that!!

Then there's the German woman who got her PhD at 102. It's never too late. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jun/09/denied-nazis-worlds-oldest-doctoral-student-awarded-phd-aged-102

The little glass Coke bottle turned 100 years old yesterday. The girl on the news said she loved the old commercial and started to sing, "I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony"

We need some global harmony

I am not really on a Bobby Fischer mode today so I deleted my criticisms of: 1) people or TV networks that spread bad and/or insignificant news; and 2) corny McDonald's and Coke Christmas commercials.

I get a break from typing this weekend
