Three more months until I head to Liverpool! The countdown has begun.
Wow that sounds like fun! Are you going on the Magical Mystery Tour and the whole bit? You'll have to let us know all of the fun places not to miss!
No, no magical mystery tour. Last time we were there we did the Beatles taxi tour which is much better imo. I may do that again, though they also do a Liverpool history tour which sounds fun. I will tour the houses again though. going to do much more exploring by bus and foot and see all the stuff we didn't have time for a few years back. I'll be there for six days! Will also see what I can find out about family history as my great grandfather was a Liverpudlian.
Just a regular taxi? Or are there BeaTles Taxi tours? Would love to see their houses as well. Anything else you can recommend? I haven't been there in donkeys years, but have friends that recently moved near enough and keep inviting me up, maybe on one of my trips... I'm sure it's really changed quite a bit! I do remember seeing Penny Lane and the roundabout. Went with a boss who was from Liverpool. He took about 10 of us! I can remember a statue of Eleanor Rigby on a bench. Have friends who have taken lots of photos!
There are actual Beatles taxi tours. The company that runs them is great and the tour guides really know their stuff. Each taxi has a Beatles themed name. Ours was named Lucy. our guide took us all over (and even a few places by request) and was even able to get us into St. Peter's hall since the Vicar happened to be at the church while we were there. After seeing all the Beatles things I would for sure recommend going to all the museums and walking around Albert Dock. Take the bus around as well, which I plan to do more of this trip. After the house tour we ended up skipping the shuttle back and walked from Paul's house to Johns house cutting through the path on the golf course, then took the bus back to the city center.

I have been informed I was the target, and still am, of narcissistic sociopathic/ psychopathic people. Now that I understand this I am feeling empowered and getting the protection and help I have needed. Thank you Universe. ð?

Thanks, for all that! Trying to put together a trip there too! The Beatle Taxi sounds really good! Will go to the houses as well! Can't wait, it's been a long time since I've been there!

I had my first date since I broke up with my boyfriend last year. It didn't go well, but at least I dipped my toe into the water. That's good news, I think.

So far it's between Holland, England or an island off Spain. A friend just got a vacation house there quite inexpensively. I speak Spanish, but not Castilian. I really love Holland, have to spend more time there. England is so difficult to get a visa... However it's where my friends live... Looking at pros and cons.

Not really... I've been visiting so much, for so long now... they want to help me figure out a way with the visa situation. Airfares keep going up...life's to short... There are places to travel to, and paintings and architecture and museums to discover!! Good Luck with your new job!! Happy for you!
