Sometimes those are the best evenings! I'm doing the same tonight, (though not as cold where you are I'm sure!) Sadie is currently glued to my side.

Definitely the best and how nice to have Sadie too!
It's supposed to snow soon, trying to find a gas or electric fireplace for this winter to get that radiant heat thing going... hot mulled cider days coming up and homemade soup!

Going to Disneyland again for a day and a half next month!

More Galaxy's Edge! Hope it wont be as crowded... I believe they're going to be building something with a Space Station and a view from space, looking back at Earth.
Have a great time.

Thank you Love2travel! Looking forward to seeing the park all decorated for Christmas and run around Galaxy's Edge again. I'm sure it will be crowded though, since it will be a weekend and holiday time.

Just saw this, you must be back by now? How was it?! I have never gone during Christmas time, but hope to do that some day. Can you rent the costumes, or do you have to buy them? Did you get a light saber? WOW I jnow know you had fun!!!

It was great! Had a wonderful time, and it was lovely seeing the park all decorated. I don't think you can rent costumes since adults aren't allowed to dress up, but they do sell costumes pieces in Galaxy's Edge.
I did make a lightsaber this time around.

Adults aren't allowed to dress up? I'm picturing how cool it would be if everyone could pick a costume going in there... that would be very cool, in my opinion...
I saw all the lightsabers online there were so many. Was a lightsaber a part of the Millennium Falcon? I read you have to wait in the long line to get the pilot seat. What was your favorite part of Galaxy's Edge? Do they have any 3D experiences?

They have people dressed up as Star Wars characters already roaming Galaxy's Edge, so they don't want visitors to get confused with other adults dressed up.
No lightsabers on the Falcon ride. The wait can be up to an hour or more to get on the ride. I didn't go on it as I get motion sickness too easily, but I did walk around inside when there last August. I love all of Galaxy's Edge, too many fun things to name a favorite!

I'll find someone to go, if he doesn't. I just read that you can dress up in your own costume in the style of Bantu just no military type costumes... that would be really fun!!

A FYI: Types of semi costumes you may wear in Disneyland/World

Air pollution is clearing up all over the world, while we are in our homes and not driving our gas guzzling vehicles. This is showing us that we need to go to cleaner forms of energy, such as electric vehicles and many many more wind mills. People and their children are enjoying the fresher air to breath and blue skies during the days, and seeing stars at night!

I haven't been following what's been going on in the US but here in the UK,what with less transport movements, social distancing and staying at home, we're really benefitting. Cleaner air means less people developing respiratory illnesses, the number of people who would have died from the flu will be falling owing to better hygene (hand washing) and social distancing. Less accidents on the roads is saving lives and the crime rate has fallen by over 20%. Its certainly not all bad news.

Yes, I imagine most countries, if not all, are experiencing similar "good news"! Hopefully we are WAKING UP to these things, and thinking about how it used to be, and how we can bring these positive things back into our lives. Seeing families reconnecting and having family time together. Social distancing is even giving you awareness of your fellow citizens and repectfully giving them space. There is a lot of good indeed. Hands around the world, two meters apart!
-
I don't know if I can call this good news........
I was here today ... ooooh ooooh here today ...
but didn't see anyone else here.
Probably keeping your social site distances ....
be safe and be well
take care,

FOOL! Where have you been?!?
Thanks for stopping by. Come again!
-
Great to see the Fool and other BeaTLe friends who have been stopping by lately!
Loving all the live music that has been on TV lately. My cable company has been upgrading cable service levels on the weekends! My local grocery store had everything I hoped to get and more, paper masks, those pulse oxygen fingertip meters cheaper than on Amazon, unlimited bottles of 80% alcohol for my sister who is an essential worker, alcohol hand spray instead of Purell. Noticing that some of these things have labels saying the are made by emergency provisions. The alcohol was in bottles that looked like margarita mix bottles and the hand spray was in a Poo Pourri toilet spray bottle! Thanks to all of the people who are coming together, like the big worldwide family that we are. Prayers and Love and Peace to all. Stay home if you can and stay safe in our "new normal"
-
Numbers have been trying to stay low in my state so I'm GETTING A HAIRCUT!! Another normal thing I finally feel safe enough to do!
