What can you take for night time leg cramps? I've been told to eat more bananas & take chew-able magnesium.
Salt (Sodium Na) is right next to Magnesium (Mg) on the Periodic table of elements, so when I get those cramps...I'll pour a little salt and eat some. You don't need very much at all, and it seems to work. I do have the Natural Calm recommended by my girlfriend the nurse. It's flavored, you can add a teaspoon in water twice a day, or I use it in orange juice with the Rasberry Lemon flavor. It's fizzy and it's also an Anti Stress drink and works to keep you regular. There's a version with Calcium too.

When wicked hot temps & high humidity hit, stay indoors or in a cool place & stay hydrated.

Keep it fresh - even when doing the same type of things: A different road to or from work - if there is an option. A different room to play guitar - Same thing being done - surroundings different enough to keep it fresh. Enjoy things along the way to where you are going.

And another thing .... Turn off the News... Yes it will still happen - Take a break from it - Or a least cut back... Listen or watch enough To know what is going on - But not enough to be Bogged down by the Heavy load of it all. Turn off your devices Once in awhile if Possible .... Take a break from Them.

Keep your brain strong by reading, playing games, having hobbies.

Someone got me a Fit Bit watch... I am going to walk whether I have One or not - but It does tell me once in awhile to Get off my butt and do Some steps ... Also on days where I think I did my steps ... It may Show that i need Some more... Even a simple pedometer Just to add a second Opinion. (For walking)... On days that I feel like Slacking ... I may see that all I need Is 2000 more steps to Hit my minimum goal... So I get up and walk - I would do the walking with or without - But once in awhile I get A badge reward saying I walked the equivalent Steps as some hiking Trail or across a state Etc....

Be sure to take some time for yourself. Me time is very important. Take a bubble bath & read a good book. Have a nice cup of your fave tea. Indulge a little once in a while. You are so worth it!
