No, that was never mentioned. They only ever said that the seats would definitely be in the front row. It's just that after all these years, everyone's eventually figured out that the seats have only ever been in the side sections. Still front row, tho!
Who gets the front row center seats, by the way?

I'm waiting for the other European announcements. Not too keen on either seated gigs, outdoor stadium gigs, or anything larger than arenas, and these concerts are falling in every of those categories, haha! Besides, already a very tight concert/festival schedule that period, so it will be tough to fit in a McCartney trip, also since the way his team announces these gigs is so annoying, even more so with tickets on sale the day after the announcement, on weekdays in the morning.

I don't like stadiums or seated gigs and despite this fitting in to both categories I am very very very tempted! What is a category 1 reserved seat?

Dublin '10 put me off forever to open air gigs, you should know, haha! It really wasn't McCartney, it was the atmosphere. Probably A2, A3, A4, the 3 blocks the nearest to the stage and the center.

Ha, this! Oh, in reply to harley, besides all those points I'm sad to say I'm awaiting the next setlist before I'm going to see McCartney again...

I am CONVINCED this is going to have a shakeup and I want to be there to witness it! In the marketing information they even say it will feature songs from Paul's extensive catalogue as a solo artist, Wings and The Beatles but importantly they lists as a solo artist and member of Wings ahead of The Beatles.

I'm afraid the same words were used in about every press release in the last few years. Deep inside my gut feeling is still telling me he's going to surprise us all. But he doesn't have to, with the regions he's playing this time. Undoubtedly there will be a 'On The Run'-like shake-up, about 10-15 songs. The opening night of the tour will be for Brazil though. Plus this gig in Poland is the first announced gig so far. I had the privilege to witness the world premier of 'The Word' and 'Come And Get It', and I truly will never forget those first moments. Best McCartney live feeling I ever got. The shock surprises are adding so much to the live experience. And that happens far too little...

The atmosphere in the O2 at Christmas 2009 was electric but the RDS gig really lacked atmosphere. I blame it on the stadium setting though, I think those who haven't been to a show like Dublin '09 probably wouldn't have had much to complain about at the RDS show, but following the Christmas '09 show was always going to be tough.

They just meant...and OF COURSE THE BEATLES. I bet Bonnaroo will have the biggest setlist change with all the younger audience & indie bands being there.

I dare Paul to surprise us and make big changes!! It would be great fun if it happens, but I am NOT expecting a big shakeup at Bonnaroo or anywhere else. His Coachella setlist wasn't much different than any of his other setlists, and there were younger people and indie bands at that festival, too.

true...but past performance is no indication of what will or won't happen. I said the biggest change...which could only be one or two songs. I never ever said a big shake up.

Can someone tell me when a link for the pre sale/ sale tickets will become available

Damn...I found a somewhat cheap flight to Poland from NYC. Now I'm thinking dangerous thoughts about going, lol.
