We knew this was going to happen though?
some people have bought the tix and don't look at the eventim page every day so it's likely that they will find out just before the gig. What if they arrive at 8:30?
-
I agree with that, perhaps they'll send emails/letters?

there is chaos with some sectors for the Warsaw gig. Those who have their tix in the following sectors: G19, G20, G2, G1, G37, C1, C2, V5 , V4 and partlyV3 will have to move to other sectors as the tix will be cancelled due to lack of visibility. There will be a special box outside the sadium called RELOKACJA where you'll be able to swap your tix. The box will be open on Friday (10am-8pm) ans Saturday (9am-8pm). This is ridiculous. I think Live Nation isn't handling this well.
huh? and where are these locations- exactly?

If the venue is, as reported here, being made smaller then that's good for everybody Every seat, whether relocated or not, is going to be closer to the stage. Look like they have the ticket swap organised with a dedicated booth to call and collect alternate tickets where necessary and I'm sure they'll have loads of staff on the floor on the night to guide those affected through it. It's more common than might be realised with such events, having a seating shuffle round to maximise the use of space - or in this case minimise the space! Many of those affected may even be bumped into better (pricier) locations. Go with the flow and find out where you end up... I benefited from a shuffle round at a Paul gig years ago, being moved down from the backest of top rows several hundred yards further forward. So view this as an opportunity not a problem. Martin

There is a lot of empty seats in front of the stage.....according to the seat map....this is very worrying

some will end up with better seats, some with worse. One of my friends has already swapped his and they are much worse!

Unfortunately, this is not true, Martin. If tyour seat was on the corner of the stage in row 1(and that's very close!) and you ended up in a different sector row 28, you would't be too happy.

I know these specifics can be very important but don't lose sight of the bigger picture: On Saturday Paul is bringing his show to Warsaw! The local economic situation may mean less can afford to attend than might have been forecast at first and the stadium may be being shuffled around to make the experience the best possible. As to empty seats in front of stage - that isn't going to happen - even if the dearer seats are unsold fans will be brought forward to make sure Paul sees a sea of happy faces when he steps out on-stage. Some fans may get a pleasant surprise on the night. Look out for venue staff holding seat tickets making their way around the nosebleeds, try and catch their eye Martin

because the prices are equal to some people's monthly earnings! I wish Paul could only see a sold out stadium!

I can't understand why they didn't dramatically drop the prices of the floor tickets, it was quickly evident to us that the event was never going to sell out at those prices. Remember back a few weeks when we all thought cancellation was a real possibility, gotta look on the bright side here. As of this morning tickets are no longer on sale, that has usually indicated a reshuffle of some sort going on. Crowdsurge are linking to eventim/livenation now so they're probably adding the Crowdsurge tickets on to the map as we speak.

my thoughts exactly. The front sector tix are obscenely expensive. Crowdsurge tix have been added all the way, bit by bit.

It seems they're doing it now. You can get some of the not so good A2 and A4 seats (originally priced at 1100 PLN) at 660 PLN, which is the original price for the A1/A5 and the B2/3/4 tickets. A bit too late, methinks.

I received an email asking me to change my ticket. I prefer that to the cancellation of the gig but I won't have a lot of time to visit Warsaw now if I have to go first to the box office.
