Warsaw, Poland - National Stadium - June 22, 2013 - ARCHIVE

It's sort of ridiculous, the pricing. It's Paul I know, but come on! I reckon the prices are high because he's not played there before and they can set any price they like, whereas if Paul returns to somewhere he's been to in the last couple of years and suddenly jacks up the price to that it would be suicide.

You know what's funny, the relatively small venues (7,000-15,000 capacity) he's playing over here had the (again relatively, haha) cheapest prices (70-90 euro). And now he's doing the biggest European show since... Kiev 2008? and the price of tickets went through the roof.
The bigger the venue, the bigger the costs. Also, I'm sure the concert will sell out, so it's an opportunity to increase profit, as people from other countries will go to Warsaw. The city will also get an increase in tourism and the fans will be happy, so everyone wins.

Everyone wins... except peoples wallets and bank accounts.

The bigger the venue, the higher the gross revenue... The rest is true, also the reason why they are putting out the tour schedule date by date.

That's not fair, though, because someone not in Poland could be like "Oh, I better buy plane tickets, hotel reservations and concert tickets for Warsaw" only for there to be an announced later in their country!

Once a concert sells out (or close to that), they announce another one.

That's true, especially in Europe. I wish he would just announce all dates at once, but according the the announcemente today that will happen in the coming weeks.

YAHOOOOOOOOO!!! Gotta do anything to get on there!!!

Capacity 72, 900. Biggest show in Europe in quite some time!
don't want to be a wet blanket but if you look at the concert arrangements of the stadium a good one-third (or more) looks excluded (scroll down for the seating map) http://www.eventim.pl/paul-mccartney-bilety.html?affiliate=PLE&doc=artistPages%2Ftickets&fun=artist&action=tickets&erid=929148

That is the bad thing...the way they announce his shows. Put all the dates out there so that we can determine which & how many shows we can attend. Congrats Poland!

Then that person would get to see 2 concerts: the one in Poland and the one in their country. As Ringo sang in his brilliant "Y Not" album, "Everyone Wins"

congrats Poland

Thanks for the info. The best seats (A2/A3/A4) cost 1100 PLN = US$348.00. But those seem to the the first rows, so how about those "Front Row" and "Hot Sound Packages"?

a A3 sector is included in the VIP packages

A3 sector is included in the VIP packages
So it's not available for 1100 PLN as advertised?

the organizer caims that a2 and a4 can be bought seperately (without the VIP packages). Not sure what the VIP package includes. They even weren't sure about the soundcheck today. It can only be dinner and chmpagne for that 1750 PLN which is quite astronomical. Tix go onsale on Friday. Until then who knows what is available

We did get food in St. Louis. The Front Row and Hot Sound packages included the entire first five rows. I don't know if they would do this in an arena.

I suggest that you buy A4, if you can. That's the area between Paul's microphone and his black piano.
