Yahllil:
So who will participate?
The best way to do it is by printing a few hundreds signs with the same words (for example: BIG BARN BED), with instructions on the back about when to raise the sheets of paper (for example: right before SOMETHING) and then handing them out to everyone while they are in the queue for the "floor standing" section, waiting to enter the Ziggo Dome.

That's a really good idea! That's what we need to do!

Does anyone have an idea what size should it have to be?

There better be some promo soon. While seats all over the place and even general admission standing tickets on the floor were still available for the first date all that time, they now closed sales for that date (again) to try to get the potential other buyers towards the embarrassing selling second night. And this is probably not even with all those unsold "best seats" which will come back to general sale from the champagne packages. I guess they will close off the upper balcony for night 2 and do a lot of ticket giveaways and it will be fine. There was an item about McCartney in a big late night show a week or what ago. Summary: he had his first hit with 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' (!) in 1976 (!) in The Netherlands, after that he was gone from the scene (!) and didn't get into the spotlights again until the Rihanna hit. You would think it was one of those not funny The Onion type of nonsense. Not a SINGLE mention of these gigs. Ffs.

Are folks in Amsterdam THAT distracted by all the low-cost ass-for-sale and easy-access crack to have missed so much of McCartney's career?

Hahaha . No, that particular example above has got nothing to do with Dutch fans or Amsterdam. (Always very passionate crowds for his gigs as well, I must add.) Just with sloppy "journalism" in general. TV items like that are being thrown together in 5 minutes by a 18 year-old intern, facts don't matter. The conversation itself on the subject wasn't much different, save for one Dutch radio DJ who brought along his singles of 'My Brave Face' and 'Hope Of Deliverance' and a few others, to educate a bit on the post-Beatles and 70's career. Actually, I always called him during his night shows when I was a 15 year old pup. When he would hear my name he would always answer something along the lines like: "Girls' School" or "Hi Hi Hi" for you?" and would then play one of those tracks requested by me. He's a good one.

Hi, I'm new to the forum and this will be my second PM concert. I first saw him in Paris in 2011. I was sat front row at the right of the stage. Fantastic memories! I'm in for the Big Barn Bed signs. A3 or A4 format ? ps : I have a GA early entrance ticket to sell as they were sold by pair

A3 paper in my opinion

I know the show will begin at 8PM, but what time will the doors open?

Very early, 18:30. But I guess that's because it's a long night, haha!

has anybody got the ticket(s) from crowdsurge already? The concert is in less then 3 weeks now, and eventhough they say they send tickets 4-2 weeks before the show, which means that there is still time, I think that the tickets really should be in mail already, since the international post might take more than a few days. I wrote them today and got quite a fast and polite answer, that is true, but confirming only that the ticket has not been sent and that if I don't get it 2 days (!!) before I go to Amsterdam, I should contact them and they will arrange for me to collect it at the box office or send it to the hotel where I will stay. That is all very nice, but I see absolutely no logic in it and it only causes stress and nothing else. Why to come up with complicated back-up plans instead of just printing the ticket, putting it in an envelope and sending it, like any other presale I have ever delat with does? On the day of the show, I don't want to be checking at what time the box office opens, I want to have my ticket that I bought and paid for 3 months befor the show (they didn't really wait with charging my card) and since it is a standing ticket, I want to be in the queue to get early into the venue, not to wait until the box office opens, which might be 1 hour before the show and I might end up at the rear of the arena, only because it is such a problem to send a ticket. It starts to be very disappointing. Thanks God I got the ticket for the second show from the Ticketmaster and I really regret I didn't wait for the TM pre-sale with the first show too, but I had no idea how fast would it sell and was affraid that I would not be able to get a ticket. I was wrong of course. So I only hope that I will not fly to Amsterdam to spend the whole first day trying to get my ticket and then watching the screens from somewhere far away... PS: I am looking at the TM right now, and there are actually standing tickets for the first night available. I am actually thinking about buying one, since it would be so damn easy, I would print it at home the very minute. But that would mean to throw away 111 Euro, since I don't really intend to spend the time I can queue for a good spot by trying to sell a redundant ticket. And 111 E is quite a lot to throw into the garbage. So I will wait and see...

Nope. Tickets through McCartney's site (Crowdsurge), not even in sight yet. Tickets through the usual Dutch ticket agency, received within 2 working days after booking.

Thanks, nobodytoldme. At least I am not alone. I have checked those other threads about the earlier concerts, and there are no complains about not getting the tickets, so it looks like everyone got them at last. But it is frustrating nonetheless, when I write them an e-mail, where I write, that I know that the tickets are sent 2-4 weeks before the show, but that the concert is in less than 3 weeks and that I would like them to send my ticket, since it is an international post and the answer is :"Tickets are typically sent out 2 ? 4 weeks prior to the date of the show. However, we do aim to ship tickets sooner whenever possible." Just a copy-and-paste from the CS general rules. I will wait untill Monday, it will be less then 2 weeks then, and hope that the ticket will be in the mail. Again, very frustrating.

Oh yeah!
Great!! We need around 10 people (or more) who'll hold the same sign. What do you think about to write on it "Just do us one small favor, we beg you, Please play us Big Barn Bed"?
The same sign? Wouldn't be more effective if we held many identical signs? On the more serious note: Yeah something like that but perhaps a bit shorter so it's bigger and more visible?
Rather than that a message would be nice...something along the lines of Liverpool 2003 and the hearts!

I am also still waiting for the Crowdsurge tickets (4). Getting more and more nervous every day. I sent an email and got the same standard answer. Going to make a phone call on Friday if they have not been shipped. Possibly they want to avoid scalpers by sending out tickets in the last 2 weeks, but it's terrible for fans. I remember it was the same when I ordered Paris tickets some years ago. Next time I will order directly from ticketmaster. The 2nd night is selling poor. That's fine, as there will be mor chance to be closer to the stage .

thanks for the info servi, let me know on Friday if you find out something new. Yea, I was thinking about the same thing, that it is for avoiding scalpers, but it doesn't make much sence, since most of the tickets went through Ticketmaster, which sent them shortly after purchase anyway. And trying to avoid scalping is a great thing, but to do it by treating each an every fan as a potential scalper is very unfortunate. If that is the reason in the first place, which we don't know.

They are in the process of sending them..... If not received within 5 days before the event you need to email. So more waiting and hoping all goes well Also someone removed my previous post, where I discussed my phone call. Is this forum censored ?
