Verified by Visa and TicketMaster

Has anyone had problems using Visa with TicketMaster. Hoping to purchase VIP tickets this morning, but I am remembering that I had difficulty last time with Visa-a screen popped up for Verified by Visa and left me at a dead end. Any suggestions?

Hi, You may wish to call your credit card company ahead of time, informing them of your potential purchase and estimated cost. If you store credit card information at Ticketmaster, you may wish to pop into your account making sure all information is correct and up to date (credit card expiration date, etc.). This is common for Ticketmaster. Log in ahead of time as suggested above and enter your credit card info and save it to your account. If you don't want TM to keep it, you can always delete it later on. I always use my Amex on TM but when I was participating in a Visa presale once, I had the same thing happen. Good luck today!

I had the same problem last year,I made sure I had everything updated,but it still put me on hold.I ended up grabbing my AMEX card & it went thru. My advise, keep 2 different cards ready & on file . Good Luck !

I disagree! I've always had great luck with TM and got 3rd & 4th row center in the pre-sales in the past. I use AMEX always.

Me too. If you are in good standing with any of your credit cards you shouldn't have any problem purchasing with it. No need to contact AMEX to get pre approved. I've never had an issue

Ever since they started selling tickets online (instead of having to wait in line to get a lottery ticket) I have used TM and never had a problem (numerous concerts)
