VIrtual waiting rooms suck! Been there. Good luck getting in!
I've given up. I was really on today with hopes for the 2nd date added. I am so bummed right now.
-
I started trying to get into capitaltickets.ca around 9:50 am and I got in around 10:02 am. I hope this give some perspective on how long it takes. I ended up with a pair in SEC 311 ROW A for the cheapest price level of $137.98 for the pair. I got cheap tickets this time as I am planning to also see Sir Paul McCartney at my favorite music festival of all-time, bonnaroo! Note to all that are going, the Ottawa RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest runs from July 4-14, 2013 in Lebreton Flats. I have lived in Ottawa in the past while I attended university and the Bluesfest is a good time. So if anyone wants to make a weekend out of your time in our nations capital check it out.
-
I started trying to get into the site about the same time. Ughhh...I can't go to the Sunday show anyway. I was just hoping and praying the Sat (2nd date) would get added.
-
I am guessing it's sold out, by now. I wonder how quick it sold out, anyone know? It doesn't say sold out on the Captial Tickets site, but on Paul's main ticket page it says N/A for Ottawa tickets. I really hope he adds another show!!

I'm not sure how long it takes for Capital to allow entry, but this is beyond frustrating.

what's that mean? That the site just kept on loading and didn't let you in right away?

Yup, it never let me in. It was loading and reloading and never let me in. If a Sat show opened up and I wasn't let in, I would have been more than devastated. I'm just bummed a Sat show didn't come up.

Scotiabank Place tweeted that this show sold out in less than 10 minutes.

I'm interested in the floor configuration at the Scotiabank Place, too. I was able to get tickets on the floor in section C, row 34, and I'm wondering how far back this is. Anyone know how many rows in total there are in the floor section (not counting the continuous section in the front)? I would have preferred a 100 section close to the stage but I feel lucky to have gotten these tickets at the venue pre-sale. (I had no luck at all at Paul's website pre-sale) . So, we'll be there!!!
that's a great question, I am wondering that too. I would like seats in the 100 section as well, but I could go for a floor ticket too, but I am on the short side and i worry if I will be able to see anything. The floor seats are not on an angle are they? (like the rest of the seats in the staduim)? thanks blackburnrose for the info, i am glad I am not the only one confused by the seating! lol
Hello Zooming in on the blue & black seating chart provided for pre-sale tickets on paulmccartney.com, (NOT the capitaltickets map) rows go from 1 -40 for sections A & C. Look for the little white #1 on the top of A and a little #4o at the end of that section and you'll see what I'm seeing! No info provided for section B.

I zoomed in on the seating chart and, yes, I can see the numbers. That's most helpful! Thank you! I would love to be up closer (wouldn't we all), but the way the tickets went -- like proverbial hotcakes --I feel lucky to have gotten in!! I last saw Paul in Toronto in 2010. I'm going to the Ottawa show with my sister, who hasn't seen him perform live since we saw the Beatles in Toronto in 1966!!! She is very excited!

Saw on the Ottawa news that it sold out in 10 minutes and that set a record for Ottawa. I told my daughter she should consider herself very lucky that I was able to get 4 tickets.
-
I got tickets!!! I can't believe it!!! I have never seen him live before, it is a dream come true!!!!! If anyone wants tickets to the Ottawa show, I checked out the Captial Ticket website and they have some "Side Rear Limited view" seats available, but I got good ones by calling the Captial Tickets number, so I encourage anyone who wants Paul tickets to his Ottawa show to call or check out the site; seats (and some might be good ones!) might be available.

My tickets from the pre-sale arrived in the mail today. Very happy to have them in my hands now.
-
Just thought we needed a bit of a bump for the Ottawa thread. Here's an exciting thought - the possibility of Mull of Kintyre being played...plenty of bagpipe players in the national capital...
-
I absolutely hope he does Mull Of Kintyre in Ottawa! I've seen it live a few times at Toronto concerts, and I'd love for my Mom to be able to see it this time.
-
Just in case MPL needs help in finding a local Pipe Band http://web.ripnet.com/~nimmos/pipe_bands.html A link to all the Pipe Bands in Canada
-
I bought tickets off ebay for the Ottawa show. The seller says he got the tickets through the pre sale but hasn't received them yet. I'm getting anxious to receive my tickets that I paid him for, has anyone else received their tickets in the mail from the pre-sale?
-
I haven't either. It's usually two weeks before the show.
-
No tix for me either; I contacted Crowdsurge and they replied: Our fulfillment company has begun processing the Paul McCartney at Scotiabank Place ticket orders for dispatch so tickets for this show will be shipped shortly. Define "shortly" however you like. :
